Just back from Killin Hotel on a DBB deal from 5pm.com. Beautiful setting despite the rain. The hotel has a few quirks- old fashioned lift and plumbing but it is clean and comfortable. Room little small and you certainly couldn't swing a mouse never mind a cat in the toilet/shower room but this didn't detract from stay. The food and...

So I decided to list why this wasn't a 5 first. Our annexe room was cold, no instructions on how to set it, a gentleman kindly came to room to assist and 'fixed' it. I asked how to adjust and he told us we wouldn't have to touch anything but the room remained cold for the full weekend. Not too...

My wife & I stayed for DBB (Xmas present from family). Very welcoming reception & check in. Room on 2nd floor at front was comfortable & clean. Info provided mentioned that you needed to run tap for several minutes to get hot water but this didn't seem to make much difference! Free wi-fi was very 'patchy' though this was probably...

The staff at the hotel from the receptionist to the bar staff were all very friendly. Great deals & very tasty food. Nice view of the river from the large conservatory area. Lovely warm log fire to warm you up on a cold winter day.

We purchased an online deal for a night at this hotel and had a lovely time. The setting of the hotel is beautiful, a small walk from the centre of Killin, next to the river with views across the surrounding hills and village. The room was well equipped and very warm and the food was absolutely gorgeous. I notified them...

I had 2 rooms a twin and a double. Our room on the 1st floor had river side view and was very warm. Fantastic value...

We stayed two nights on a very reasonable Itison deal. Our room (37) was a family room and perhaps somewhat small for a family but as a couple there was no problem. The room was very clean and warm and the views to the front and on to the river were splendid. TV reception was very poor due, we were...

We stopped in for a lunch as we pass once a month or so and it always looks nice as we pass. The waitress was very nice but she didn't ask if everything was OK (it wasnt) once we had started or even after we had finished our lunch. I had a steak sandwich and thought it's bound to be...

Stayed overnight to break a journey and had a great evening. Very professional impression from reservation to check out with the bar and restaurant staff being real stars. Public areas of the hotel were exceptionally comfortable and interesting while the food was delicious and plentiful. Bedroom was very small but modern and immaculately clean as was the rest of the...
