This hotel has a nice feel and lots of interesting nooks and crannies. Lovely view from the bedroom and more character than the usual modern box! Food in the bar was OK but fish and chips not very crisp! Breakfast was tasty and staff friendly.

We were here on an itison deal and found it great value for money. Reception area a bit disappointing but the room and very beautiful view made up for it. Dinner was excellent. Good sized portions and friendly service. Bar area and restaurant were pleasantly decorated. Would definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Stunning location and perfect for walking in the area without having to drive. Rooms small but clean and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food of standard expected, good and wholesome pub style. Would be more than happy to return. Thank you.

Got an itison deal to stay here as a gift. Read some reviews that moaned about booking, we phoned well in advance, got given a variety of dates and booked no problems. Room (1) was very decent size, stunning views over the loch. Room was clean, comfortable bed, quirky decor and bathroom was clean with a very hot shower. Breakfast...

The staff were polite but didn't really enter into any conversations. We were told, on arrival, that our room would have no view. Has to happen to some! Instead of the loch we looked out onto a small back yard. Our room wasn't at all like any of the photos, it was clean but much more basic. The pillows were...

Ate in the bar, and found that the food is very tasty, good menu with plenty of choice and prices very reasonable. Nice friendly staff, service with a big smile and a bit of a Geordie (hope...

Hotel was comfortable without being fussy. Like the old style design and quirky layout. This hotel is not for those who like the minimalist look. Room comfortable, shower great. View across Loch Earn magnificent. Plenty of basic information on the environs available. Had dinner in bar, roomy, background music but not intrusive. TV on silent/subtitles hurrah! Good choice of food,...

we had a lovely 2 night break. Views where stunning looking out to the loch and up to the mountains. Room was a bit dated but the en-suite made up for it. No Wi-Fi in room 22 but worked down in the room coming off from the breakfast room. Didn't try out the bar or the restaurant looked a bit...
