We arrived for my big Birthday stay. The welcome was good, we had our dog with us and stayed in the dog friendly rooms over looking the garden. The views from this hotel are outstanding and now rates very high up on my most beautiful list. The food in the bar was nice and reasonably priced. The bar was comfortable,... More

Just returned from a two night break at this beautiful hotel. Cannot fault, dog friendly, lovely room over looking garden, great food and the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a relaxed informal hotel then this is first class. We will definitely be back Thank you 👍

My partner and I spent a night in a loch view room, we booked directly with the hotel getting a very reasonable rate. Having read some reviews and hilarious responses we simply had to visit. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we could need, I agree with some reviews the hotel is aged however it added to the... More

Cant thank you enough for giving us such great feedback, glad you enjoyed the character side of the hotel, its 300 years old and im still shocked when people say " its a bit old style " its not old style you half wits, its authentic, original and cultured". the interior is bang up to date with total refurbishment everywhere,... We enjoyed our stay - room was very comfortable and a super view over the loch. We had a lovely dinner. The breakfast was at best average - I ordered poached eggs and that is what was served so had to make my own toast while my eggs were growing cold.

The hotel does not look much from the outside but is great on the inside. Loved the decor and character of the buildings. Food excellent with generous portion sizes. Fab views over loch and peaceful location.
