To be honest we booked the hotel and never realised the extent of this place ..the room in the hotel was warm clean but dated. Stains on the roofs walls etc. The swimming pool jacuzzi etc was great and although some people had said they had to pay for towels we didn't get asked to do so. The gentleman at...

we stayed in eagle lodge with hot tub. Accommodation was a very good size and well equipped and the hot tub made our stay. On the downside the food onsite was very mediocre (I had to complain re my daughters food and she was actually sick) and the only other site for food was at the Goil Inn also owned...

The location is beautiful, the lapwing lodge was perfectly OK, and most of the staff were really friendly. However, the extra charge of £85 to use the swimming facilities is ridiculous! The accommodation was certainly not cheap, and I would have thought it reasonable to expect the leisure facilities to be included..... But we couldn't not allow the kids to...

We stayed as a family in one of the eagle lodges. its really dated, offering you the barest facilities. We did a bit of cooking. That was a challenge given the lack of lids for pots, and the cheapest assortment of cutlery. So the main attraction of this resort is surely the local amenities. the pub at Goil? Also owned...

This was our second visit to Drimsynie and the standard is still high. We were in a 3 bedroom (2xensuite) Lapwing Lodge which was in excellent condition and great facilities. The go active activities were loved by the 3 kids - 2x14 girls and one 10 year old boy. Special shout out to Robbie and Steve who made it so...

I am currently staying at this "resort" until Monday 17th April 2017. We as a family chose this place as it had entertainment for our child (aged 6). We arrived Monday 10th April and Evie wanted to do Rusty's Showtime advertised for Tuesday morning. We arrived for the show to be told that it wasn't on until the evening. So...

I stayed here for a weekend in March with my wife and another couple. We were in an Osprey, 2 Bedroom Lodge. The accommodation was basic, but okay with a spacious lounge area and well equipped but small kitchen and two bedrooms which were also a bit basic. (you always knew when your mates were up in the morning because...

A place to get away from it all but a challenge when weather is wet and grey to find enough to do. Lodge was spacious but very poorly furnished and smell of dog from the carpets. Basic tv channels and fuzzy picture. Kitchen had minimum equipment. 3 saucepans but only 1 lid. Cheap as chips cutlery. If you like a...

We didn't have a bad experience on the two previous occasions we visited Drimsynie, but unfortunately this was third time unlucky. Our Lapwing Lodge was just OK, but this was not enough to disappoint us. This place has turned into a well-oiled money-making machine, calibrated, designed and engineered to part you with your money as ruthlessly and as efficiently as...

We have visited Drimsynie a few times and its a hidden gem, beautiful scenery with loads of amenities, swimming pool, gym, restaurant, pub, 9 hole golf course, fantastic. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the accommodation was great. Would recommend to all ages. loads of walks in the area from easy going to extreme climbing. Something for everyone.
