Great holiday park. Immaculately clean. Fantastic play park. Lovely staff. Amazing views. Spacious caravan. Highly recommend. Arrived and had a wander while waiting for check in time. Delighted by the caravans size, amenities and cleanliness. Visited the surrounding area and friends were allowed to pick us up on their boat from the site jetty. A great visit and enjoyed by our youngster and teenagers. Decking surrounding the caravan ideal for enjoying dinner.

We booked a 3 night stay last year and due to the pandemic just got to use it this last week. The staff at reception were polite and very helpful especially Marjorie. We were 6 adults attending and this is definitely not a caravan for 6 adults possibly 2 adults and 2 small children and 2 even smaller. All of the males were about 5ft 8 and taller and a very small gap between the beds meant you had to dress upright. Although the caravan was clean and had plenty of kitchen items, the large sofa in the lounge was broken underneath and every time we sat on it it collapsed. The carpets and flooring looked new but cleaners must have noted the broken sofa if they had taken the cushions off to clean it. Plenty of clean white towels. All in all we had a great time but luxury is not the word I would use. No wifi in any caravan only the reception which was not advertised when we booked.

When we booked this over 3 months ago we found the woman on the phone extremely unhelpful and quite darn rude, only answering yes or no to our questions and hanging up the phone twice on us when were asking her things, it seemed like she was uninterested in helping us. We stayed here for 3 nights, the caravans were quite new and nicely decorated but certainly not clean. the limescale on the shower was thick and we found dirty tissues, lumps of dog hair and hair bobbles under the beds, so clearly not getting cleaned properly! The shower was broken, you had to hold it when in use, as the hose was broken and the hook just needed screwed in, so the maintaince isn't kept on top of either. When we booked it, we asked if there was gates on the decking to keep the dog in but on arrival there was no gate and we were given a bit of wood to act as a gate but this is not safe even if a child was to run on the road and they could get hurt. The caravan was for 6 people but only had a table for 4, which was strange, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard, none of us slept well at all and the tv was tiny, when all the other caravans had huge tvs? I certainly wouldn't pay full price for staying here, as its certainly not worth the money. There was even a man in the nude walking around, not what we wanted to see? There is no facilities here apart form a swing park, a launderette and a shop with limited selection. There is no WIFI and you can only get a phone signal outside, the info book in the caravan was useless as it doesn't state there is a WIFI hotspot room at reception and no phone numbers or menu for local restaurants so useless if you have no phone signal? The launderette is handy but could do with a tv in it to pass the time or a magazine. Its a nice park but we wouldn't return.

I always think half your stay is made by the attitude of staff. After arriving we were at first disappointed when reception got our keys out a post box (where guests leave keys on departure). I'm concerned this meant our pod hadn't actually been checked before our arrival? During a global pandemic this is not very reassuring. Secondly, on checking our pod we discovered it did not have an oven as shown in photos on the website. I had also confirmed there would be an oven when booking on the phone to ensure we could cook the meals we were planning. After speaking to reception they just said sorry and didn't offer any sort of solution to the food that will now go to waste.Otherwise the pod is nice, just a disappointing start to our trip.
