Stayed in a wigwam when doing the west highland way. Location - perfect. Away from traffic, situated on the west highland way, with beautiful scenery. Wigwam - clean, tidy, spacious. Shower block - clean, hot water £1 to shower. Great size kitchen/washing up area with washing machine/tumble dryer. The shop is full with anything you need including delicious cakes! The...

Went last weekend. Idilic. On path of west highland way. We were away from wigwam community but that suited us. We will go back there with our grandchildren. They will live it there. Ours was adequately positioned in a working farm for the river for my husband fishing. Brie was amazing. Accommodation clean and compact. Basic cooking equipment. Will definitely...

Spent the weekend here with partner , child and dog . Lovely clean site with lots of different sized huts and pods . We were lucky to get a new ensure ( although not plumbed in yet ) even though we had only paid for a large wigwam. It was spotlessly clean with lots of space and good facilities will...

Me and my Partner work in Hospitality, and had just worked the Edinburgh Fringe Festival so were desperate to escape the city and civilization for a day and night and this was ideal. It's located in the national park so the scenery is amazing, my partner is Australian so it was ideal for travellers to experience the scenic side of...

We had 5 adults and 5 children spread over 3 wigwams. It did not stop raining from the moment we arrived. Kids all loved it and had a ball, they especially enjoyed the gold panning. When we arrived only 1 wigwam was ready... no explanation or apology was given and it was over an hour before they were all ready....

The lodge is at the top of the campsite and is a good location next to the river. One bedroom had two single beds and the other was bunk beds which were a bit awkward for sleeping. Small kitchen area and sitting room. Overall, we enjoyed staying at the lodge and made use of the outside space given for making...

If you are hiking the WHW, beware that this is 2 miles short of Tyndrum making your next day much more challenging if you plan to get to Kingshouse. That said, they brought our backpacks all the way up to the cabin and picked them up the next morning and made arrangements for taxis into town for dinner, The cabins...

Just spent two nights at the "bald eagle lodge", which is like a super sized luxury wigwam! Came fully equipped so all we needed to take was our bedding (although if you wanted you can pay extra to have beds made up for arrival) and our food! Staff on reception/in shop were lovely, we didn't purchase much other than teabags...

We stayed for two nights in the original wigwam however when we made the booking we were given no indication the wigwam we would be staying in was in a carpark away from the other wigwams! It ruined the illusion of being on a camping trip as you stepped out in the morning into a massive concrete surrounding. The wigwam...

I have stayed here before but this time I went for the large wigwam and I'm glad I did. Much more room and a fridge as standard! 30m from the facilities block which were immaculately clean. Also have a tv lounge and a fully fitted kitchen as well as toilet and showers. Great location (roughly half way between Crianlarich and...
