Just dropped in on Sunday morning on the off chance of a nice cup of coffee and a relaxing few minutes. Lovely experience it was too, delightful staff ready with a smile, not too busy to chat and really friendly and the coffee wasn't bad either. Smashing lounge with a beautiful view from their windows. Would definitely come for a...

After several years we made a return visit to this gorgeous period style hotel. We had fond memories of our previous stay and were not disappointed. The staff were just as friendly as we remembered and we were allocated a lovely room with two large bay windows overlooking the gardens. Situated next to the peaceful river Tweed the hotel is...

Dear flyer100London, Thank you for your comments which I will share with the team. I am disappointed that you had problems with our Wifi, and parts of the building can have poor coverage which is sated in our guest directory with the public lounges having best connectivity. Popped in here for a quick sandwich lunch and pot of coffee with a friend from the South after an absence of some years - not disappointed. Still a beautiful spot on the banks of the Tweed which was clearly visible from the hotel. Delighted to see the new wood burning stove which would make it very cosy on a...

Stayed for 1 night on 2 May. Single occupancy room with breakfast, £69. Excellent value for money. Room was clean and comfortable with a six foot bed, very comfy as well. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and I had their version of eggs benedict, which was tasty although one of the eggs was slightly over cooked. The evening before,...

This is our second stay here after our first visit last year and once again we were not disappointed. This time we treated ourselves to the Lady Mertoun Suite with a dinner package and it was great value and we would really recommend these packages if your budget allows. The suite itself was really nice and as it's on the...
