Really good atmosphere in this old pub! Setting, decorations and food exactly as you want it to be. Can recommend the charcoal grilled sirloin steak - great!! Friendly staff taking good care of customers!

passed many a time and as open all day stoped for meal entry a bit grim and not a great feeling as outside pot full dog ends but inside ok old and needs spruce up bar staff pleasant and blackboard menu ok food was enjoyed...More

Visited for lunch with a friend and enjoyed the food very much. Good sized portions, reasonable menu choice and cosy old style pub environment. Only negative was that the tables were very close together which made it a little difficult to have conversation at times...More

Went with family for the festive four course menu that we pre-booked, great food and great service local Devon ale, all at a very reasonable cost. Great atmosphere and nice cosy and warm from the wood-burning stoves.

I've never been to this place even though its so local. It has a lovely cosy atmosphere with the wood burning going and has a good ole country pub feel. I had the roast beef and my husband the fish ..... the servings were generous...More
