We stayed in one of the apartments next door to the hotel which is two bedroomed with lounge/kitchen and bathroom with shower. Extremely clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was In the main hotel. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough! Beautiful, airy and modern rooms with gorgeous bathrooms and fantastic sea views, this hotel is five star! Add to that friendly and professional services from Jude the manager, mouth-watering food and a stunning harbour view from the dining area, this place is a real gem! We spent one night there, having arrived in...

The bedrooms were faultless and breakfast in the morning really good (although no choice between white or brown toast- white was served without question- strange I thought). Friendly staff, idyllic setting.

Went into this hotel for lunch with family. Waited 20 mins and then had to ask for menu. Waited another 20mins and was never acknowledged during the time there although other people around us were being served. On leaving idle staff hanging around bar were quite complacent as we walked out and told them we would go elsewhere. A very...

We have stayed here in the past as part of a group of sea anglers going out with Dom on "Predator 2", a super fishing boat moored in the harbour just a few yards from the hotel. We stayed in the house the pub uses for larger groups but we all ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant which was...

This was our second trip to Portpatrick and the Harbour House Hotel in the last two years.Portpatrick is a smashing place for a week end of golf at Dunskey Golf Club and relaxing with friends in the Harbour House Hotel. A very well run hotel with staff that are all so friendly means our society will be coming back again...

I visited here with a colleague for an evening meal and was pleasantly surprised. The beer selection was good with some guest ales, the East Coast IPA and Twisted Thistle IPA went down well. We both had the rib-eye steak with chips and it was very tasty with a juicy, well seasoned steak. The overall experience, including the friendly staff,...

We were a party of 'seventy-somethings' on an overnight stay, and as we departed I shouted over my shoulder, " and we'll give you a great write-up on Trip Advisor ". That really says it all ! Well not quite, as to put things into context, you are entitled to know of our expectations, as, if you are looking for...
