I stayed here overnight due to traveling to Belfast on an early hours morning ferry. Room really nice with on suite and the small decanter of whiskey by the bed was a nice touch even though I don't drink it. Elaine left me a pack lunch breakfast in the fridge due to leaving so early. Would return again with business...

From booking to leaving, Elaine and Alan cannot do enough enough to help, lovely people! Had a phone call, sadly missed it as no fone coverage, making sure we had postcode and directions. Room was lovely, well thought out, lovely touch was a dram of whisky that hubbie thoroughly enjoyed! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, set us up for the...

Fantastic hotel. Room was very big and clean. Great en-suite and nice big comfy bed. Would definitely stop again if I end up back in Stranraer. Driving from Scotland back to England we decided to have a final stop before crossing the border. Crossing Stranraer as the final destination we checked TripAdvisor for accommodation. The Lakeview seemingly being one to choose according to reviews so we did just that. We were welcomed with smiles and genuine interest, our room was excellent, large and roomy, very clean...

We stayed overnight before catching the ferry to Belfast. Unable to book two previous B&B's we chose Lakeview Guest House. Very friendly and helpful owners, ideally situated with view over Loch Ryan parking either in front of the property or across the road in a free public car park. The rooms are clean and tidy, furnished to a high standard....

We stayed overnight before catching ferry to Ireland. Elaine was a very welcoming and friendly host, and we had a very enjoyable stay at Lakeview. Right on the front with views across the park, and close to town. Would stay here again no problems.
