This hotel has some amazing staff. We arrived mid afternoon on a rainy Tuesday with our Border Terrier and we asked if we could bring him in with us. The answer was yes and we had a very pleasant mid afternoon stop at the Glengarry Castle Hotel. The service was quick and friendly. The coffee was excellent and the scones...

We stopped off here on the way to Skye and it made a great start to the holiday. Comfortable room, welcoming staff and a good breakfast. Dogs are allowed into the comfortable lobby seating area where you can sit and enjoy an evening tipple in front of a log fire. Great views from the house and good walking all round....

We stopped over here on the way back from Skye so elected for a standard double - hence my negative comments may not relate to other standards of room. This is a lovely building in a fantastic location with stunning views and walks literally on the doorstep. Very friendly staff and excellent food. So why only 3 stars? Our bedroom...

A beautiful hotel, set in acres of lush greenery and woods. Driving up toward the hotel felt like time had rewound. You'll catch a castle ruins along route. We stayed in a twin room. It was a cosy room, with an old-fashioned charm about it. It was however surprising to find a nice large bath and shower, albeit modern. The...

We stayed here for one night. This hotel is fantastic. our room was a standard twin with a large bathroom, very comfortable and charming. The sitting rooms had a great selection of sofas or chairs with open fires. The restaurant was lovely, with fantastic food and also fantastic service. The grounds were stunning - I cannot praise this hotel enough....

We had a wonderful two nights at the Glengarry! The staff went out of their way to make us feel special. The hotel is situated on a beautiful loch and is surrounded by walking trails. There are castle ruins you can explore not too far from the hotel. The rooms are large and luxurious. Nothing is forgotten. I loved having...

The staff are lovely and we always make a point of visiting when in the area. There are two beautiful lounges with plenty of reading material & it is so relaxing...

A lovely, retro hotel in a Victorian castle, in a stunning location overlooking the Loch. It's worth getting up early and taking a walk in the grounds as the air is so fresh and pine-scented. Efficient and unobtrusive staff, generously sized rooms, and a comfortable restaurant serving tasty meals. Perfect get-away!
