I had a wonderful weekend at the Glengarry Castle in early August. I had a single room, which had a beautiful full bathroom. The staff was excellent - very friendly and warm. And the view of Loch Oich can't be beat.

My understanding is that dogs are allowed in certain (but not the deluxe) bedrooms. However, they're not allowed in most of the public areas including the dining rooms. And I've never seen any in one of those rooms but I have in the corridors and outside.
Check with the hotel to be sure.
