This is not a bad hotel, it's just not a great one - a bit rough around the edges! The value is unbeatable - the location is excellent to downtown restaurants (try Bangkok Alley for good Thai food and sushi and Cafe Keough for good coffee) and attractions (Mud Island and the pyramid) and a 7 minute walk to Beale...

The cheapest place to stay in the centre of town, just a few blocks from Beale Street. Front desk is situated in the ground floor level of a multi storey car park and the rooms are above the car park, I think starting from level 8 or 9. Unfortunately when we checked-in the lifts were being repaired, you guessed it,...

Stayed here for two nights. It didn't feel like anywhere in Memphis wouldn't feel slightly off, so it didn't matter too much. Not too far a walk from Beale St and the room quality was great! The decor was a little outdated and the pool was chilly, but the cleanliness was above expected and the beds were big and comfy!...

Stayed in Sept 2015. Old & has a real funky smell. Staff was ok. The prices ended up being a lot more than what we were first quoted. The breakfast was good & the pool area is pretty nice. Best part is how close it is to Beale St.

We checked in for an overnight stay on a Wednesday night. There is a parking garage it's $10 extra per night. We did have a problem with our room key initially but it was fixed. The hallways were dated and the wallpaper was peeling. The elevator worked but was slow and the door would slam. It reminded me of the...

Look, this is the cheapest hotel in downtown, you have to understand this to start with. You can find cheaper hotels out in the periphery of Memphis, but this one is right downtown for under $100/night. It's about a 10-minute walk to Beale St; 8 min to the ballpark; 12 minutes the other direction to the convention center. This is...

We stayed here in July 2014, staff were not as friendly as they could have been, slowest lift in the history of the world and general appearance of the complex looked like it needed a good deep clean. The rooms were acceptable, clean and a good size. Bathroom was also ok. Breakfast room was good size with a reasonable selection...

Recently stayed at this hotel on a family trip. The check in and check out staff were very friendly. The elevator was outdated and did not seem safe and was very, very slow. We tried to take the stairs but they were disgustingly dirty and there were floors where the lighting was not working, which also made them unsafe and...

It's a cheap hotel on the top floors of a parking building. The elevator has a life of its own, no indication were you are heading. The pool is on the 8th floor and we had a room right next to the terras area which apparently people can use until after midnight. So we got all the drunken small talk...

OK, this is an economy hotel. The elevator takes forever to lift you up to your room. But said room is quite decent, and location is fantastic! You can walk to all the interesting (like Gus) and uninteresting (like the Peabody) places.
