This property needs some CLEANING, and general upkeep. They advertise all the cleaning products they use- but not sure they’re getting “used”. High touch items like the air controls are filthy. Peeling paint, ratty shower curtain. Really- how hard it it to install new shower curtains? The parking lot needs some security. Looks like people are living in some busses in the parking lot. Several young men in hoodies lurking around the cars. Lots of unlit areas. Does not give the appearance of being safe when the parking lot looks like gang territory. Over 20 floors and no restaurant? This isn’t a covid thing- restaurants are open everywhere, including hotels. Time for some bathroom remodels. Unless you’re 120 lbs or less, hard to sit on the toilet as it’s so close to the wall and the toilet paper roll sticks out over the toilet. Cant sit sideways as it’s crammed too close to the bathtub. Really Memphis Hilton?!? You can do better than this. “Hilton” Hotels are supposed to be Nice. Classy. Clean. I guess the room price should have been a clue. When you’re priced like a Motel 8…explains the problem in the parking lot. Clean it up.

Hotel's Favourite
Perfect location for East Memphis / German Town destinations. Hotel is operating under covid restrictions so F&B options are limited but they work. Recently renovated rooms and public areas have been great for this iconic 1970's property. Great staff - everyone doing their best to be as helpful as possible. Sincere thanks to Front Desk Manager Elizabeth for finding my missing parcels - she was amazing.

Closet rack was falling off wall. Hotel is very old and shows. Air did not work on floor. Stayed 4 days 3 nights called 3rd day and was told I was not receiving housekeeping due to me only staying three nights…where at every hotel I’ve been to since COVID-19 (Loews, Peabody, Marriott, vdara Las Vegas, even a Hilton in Arizona) it has been every other day. Ok, that’s fine so I called later to get at Least fresh bath towels and the gentleman on the phone kind of sounded like he brushed it off saying “ok someone will bring you some ma’am” and I never received them. It felt like every time I called down they didn’t like their job or something. Thank god I used the mobile app to check in and out as to not having to deal with the front desk. I work in customer service and would go above and beyond and I feel like especially at an hotel like the Hilton it should be top tier. I honestly don’t think it’s the Hilton’s fault it’s just that Memphis workers Attitude . My next visit I will most likely not stay here at the Hilton I will just stick to my usual Peabody or Marriott across the street. The folks at the restaurant coffee shop market were very nice even when my card was not working so it was not an all bad visit . Nice views of i240, big windows

Hotel in poor repair, often no hot water for several guests, peeling paint, cracked or even missing windows. No local shuttle and poor , service in restaurant other than breakfast. Understaffed like everywhere lately. Not normal Hilton standards!

We have had a great stay. The hotel is clean, the employees could not be more friendly and helpful. There is no cleaning of the rooms during our stay but we were told that upon check in and it is perfectly fine with me. Anything you might need will be provided to you at the front desk. He food service is different. Chalk it up to covid. You can get breakfast at the Starbucks or they have a buffet. Lunch can be had at the Starbucks as well and we were pleased with our chicken Caesar salad as well as philly cheese steak and fries. Dinner, you order at the bar and they bring it out in styrofoam boxes. It is all good tho. The cooks do a great job and they are all trying. The bartender is amazing and works her tail off. I will come back to this location.
