Although it was not a problem, When we arrived at the roulhac we were a bit concerned about the area we were in but once we got inside it was a big surprise. The whole place was very sumptuous and beautifully decorated. The bed was sooo comfy. The room was a bit small but was adequate and very clean. The...

The Roulhac Mansion was perfect. We stayed in the Alma House. This was my first time to stay at a bed and breakfast and it left me with memories to last a lifetime! I thoroughly enjoyed the time we had there. Margie and Larry were sensational and a delight to meet. Anyone looking to step back in time, this is...

My boyfriend and I just returned this evening from an unexpectedly delightful visit to Memphis, TN for the first time. We stumbled across the Roulhac Mansion online last year and actually booked a trip for my birthday weekend in July, but had to cancel our plans. This year, we decided to once again book at the Roulhac. We stayed in...

I read the reviews before I booked and thought all would be fine and it was. the owner is very nice, but I feel that I need to make sure that fellow travellers can make an informed decision. The place is really fine inside and extremely ornate. Our suite had a bath down the hall, which wasn't what we were...

This was my first stay at a Bed & Breakfast and it was fabulous. We stayed in the Isabella House March 21-24. The rooms were decorated exquisitely. The furnishings were beautiful and the attention to detail was comparable to a 5-star hotel. Margie, the manager, and Larry, the groundskeeper, welcomed us and made us feel like family. They ensured that...

The Roulhac Mansion is a beautiful piece of history in Memphis. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the home and the hospitality of Margie and Larry, who manage the property. Don't be put off by the neighborhood - the Roulhac is a diamond in the rough. Larry watches over guests and the property and Margie...

We stayed at the Roulhac Mansion for our 15th Wedding Anniversary. What a delightful experience!!! The rooms were simply gorgeous. From the canopied elegance of the beds, to the personal one-on-one service of the staff, we could not have asked for a better experience. The decor and ambience of the bed and breakfast were simply breathtaking. We stayed in the...

Love Love Love this wonderful B&B! Although the neighborhood is being revitalized, this is a place that you MUST stay in when you visit Memphis. I was truly amazed at the luxurious rooms and seperate cottages. Margie, the property manager, is wonderful and a great cook, as well. She keeps this property CLEAN and the gates lock at 10PM so...
