We stayed in the summerhouse last weekend for two nights. Couldn't have wanted anything more. So quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed walking to the nearby village of New Quay and also walking round Aberaeron. Perfect end to the day was sitting in the hot tub watching the sunset. My 9 year old daughter was with myself and a friend. We all...

We stayed for 4 nights in the summerhouse. Lovely location so close to the pebble beach which ours dogs enjoyed and short walk to the town. Watching the sunset and relaxing in the hot tub was great. Mark was very welcoming.

We stayed here for a night and wish we could have stayed longer. Mark was so lovely and accommodating. The beach and the town were an easy walk away. We had an absolutely fantastic time! The hot tub was the icing on the cake. We will definitely be returning! Lauren and Sam

We stayed in the summerhouse alongside Ty Gwyn Guesthouse. We had such a good time we decided to extend our trip for another night. The highlight had to be the hot tub just feet away from our accomodation, even in the middle of January! Great location, our little dog particularly liked the fact that we were next to a field...

Good to hear you enjoyed your stay here at Ty Gwyn Apartments. I now have new swinging seats overlooking the bay from your decking. The hot tub is still here too, regards, Mark.

My husband and I stayed with our dog in Swn y Mor the self catering apartment alongside Ty Gwyn. We arrived at night and the owner, Mark, left the key in the door for our arrival. A lovely, clean, homely apartment which is also disabled friendly. Great location, just a few minutes walk to the pebble beach, and a 10...

This was our 2nd visit. Great location as had a field outside with access to the beach - then an easy walk along the beach to town. The accommodation is very comfortable and again dog friendly with wooden floors etc.

We made a late booking last week and stayed at the weekend. The B&B itself is very nice and as a couple or in one of the apartments I'm sure our stay would have been perfect. However the room configuration meant that once the children were asleep we couldn't watch TV - though if they were heavier sleepers this wouldn't...

Thanks for your comments....I am sorry your baby did not enjoy the travel cot... I will learn from your experience to improve future bookings....In 3 weeks only the apartments will be available and on a SELF CATERING basis only............They too are ideal for couples but less roomy for families....Regards , Mark..

Me, my partner and our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel stayed at Ty Gwyn at the end of October 2013. We stayed in the ground floor, self-catering apartment and it was ideally suited to our needs. The apartment was the perfect size for the 3 of us and was really cosy and warn. The double bed was super comfy and the...

We arrived at this charming b&b after dark and had difficulty finding it but once we did we found it was well worth the trouble. We were greated by a lovely lady who kindly brought us coffee, hot chocolate and cakes. After a long journey, this kindness was very much appreciated. The bed was our most comfortable yet and the...

“These reviews are honest. Believe me, I have stayed in enough places that really don't deserve any stars. This is truly excellent. The rooms are clean, modern, well decorated and there aren't a load of rules, regulations and junk/unnecessary plastic flowers or nick nacks.”
