Love this hostel. Second time we have stayed here, the last time been about 5 years ago. We had a private room with a double bed and single bed over it. Certainly intend to return, preferably not so long between the next time. Well located for Snowdonia. Love it.

Since I discovered this little gem of a place in 2012 I have stayed here 6 times in total! It is completely worth the 5 hour drive up from London. My only gripe is that upon each visit it has got busier and busier with its popularity now being an annoyance to me!! Our first visit in 2012 saw us...

Really good hostel, my husband and I had a nice double room. The place was clean and perfect for our short stay. Good pub within walking distance for food. It was not our first time there and we will definatly be back.

Really nice and welcoming for our first stay in Snowdonia. loved the real coal fire, great kitchen facilities (shame some lazy people didn't do their washing up but that's not your fault!), comfortable rooms and plenty of shower rooms that were always clean. Great location and views and staff were very informative about the local area. We wouldn't have been...

The hostel was a good starting point for my hikes in the Snowdonia mountains. I had a great time and the other guests and the staff were very kind. The facilities in the hostel are top notch, especially the kitchen. The beds were very cozy and privacy enhancing with the curtains you can close. I slept like a rose! I...

We stayed the night before the Snowdonia marathon. We had our baby with us. Staff were great and polite. But the noise up to the 11.30 curfew was too loud. There was no door on the corridor to block the noise so we could hear everyone downstairs. The noise did settle after 11.30 but the noise of the lock on...

Running on casual backpacking principles to keep costs down, but with added extras (amazing duvets!), bunks with curtains, modern, cosy facilities, shared kitchen, fireplace and nearby options if you don't feel like cooking. Verandah overlooking the river, in the heart of Snowdownia.

Excellent well maintained bunk house. Great facilities , large communal kitchen area and lounge. Big shout to Haman who helped me get Glastonbury tickets , what friendly guy who greeted us on arrival and had the place running brilliantly.
