We came to eat with friends at the Beaufort Park on two occasions and were very impressed with the food and staff. Service was quick and all the meals we had were delicious (except maybe the pizza which was a tad overcooked). We can particularly recommend the prawn and garlic mushroom sizzler which is supposed to be a starter but...

We stayed here for 3 nights with friends. The room if a little dated was very clean and comfortable and had plenty of storage space . We ate in the bar every night and enjoyed a good variety of food, the standard of service was good. Breakfast is served in the main dining room and is again very good. We...

Stayed here on a business trip. Hotel is easy to find, plenty of parking. My room 211 wasn't out of date, was pretty much like a travel lodge internally. The shower was electric and being short, I had to stand on the loo to see what the dial stated on pressure etc which wasn't ideal, but it was an ok...

We stayed on 17th February enjoyed an excellent afternoon tea, our room was spacious comfortable and spotlessly clean, breakfast was plentiful. Special mention should be made about the very efficient and friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble.

We stayed here as part of a visit to Chester. The location is great however there is not much more that can be said for this outdated hotel. We arrived at the same time as a National Holidays coach party and despite there being 40+ of them to check in, it seemed to take longer for the non-coach party queue...

Arrived in the midst of a massive coach party, which was not a great start. We were directed to a separate check in which was slow and unwelcoming but nowhere near as bad as our room.....having read the reviews we were expecting the decor might be dated but we didn't appreciate, quite how dated! The room and bathroom were stuck...

Good reception by James the manager who changed our Sunday morning breakfast time from 7.30am to 8.45am! We travelled with National Holidays and the hotel staff were efficient even if they were overrun with passengers at mealtimes! Hot, tasty evening meal. Clean and comfortable, if a little old fashioned, rooms. Glad we got to breakfast a little early as there...

Very nice hotel, welcoming clean rooms of a good size.We had a three courses evening meal which was very tasty we enjoyed the entertainment on the night, and the drink prices were reasonably. The only problem we had was at breakfast it was very unorganised by the time we ate it was cold.we did enjoy our stay and will return.

I organised, with the help of Lesley, a super co-ordinator, an Afternoon Tea celebration party for 30 of my friends. The whole experience was very smooth and even when I added more people to the guest list there was no problem. The room was beautifully set out and just how I had asked for the tables, cake table, flowers etc....
