This was our first time as a couple visiting Abersoch, also our first time camping in a tent staying with Tyn-y-mur mon-fri we were very lucky we had good weather over the 4 nights first night rained which did not affect our stay. Ken & Barbra were very welcoming and made sure we knew all the information about the campsite... More

This is a lovely site in a lovely place. Ken and Barbara are excellent hosts and do their very best to make this FAMILY site enjoyable. So onto those who have recently posted about the rules being too strict. A group of particularly large obnoxious group of campers unfortunately got under the radar and camped together to the detriment of... More

It was our first family camping trip and we really enjoyed it. The camp site was safe, clean and with an amazing view. We defo camped hardcore and would do it all over again. It a 20 min walk to the town and a short driving distance to some beautiful beaches. Thank you to Ken & Barbara for making our... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Tyn-Y-Mur a couple weekends ago and we had a really lovely time! Facilities were really good, clean bathrooms and well organised rules for general cleanliness. The owners were really helpful and were incredibly forgiving when we were arriving late! The campsite is located in a lovely spot in abersoch, we had a lovely weekend... More

We turned up with our trusty Transit camper van and enjoyed a thoroughly pleasant couple of days despite the vagaries of the Welsh weather. The facilities were first class and Ken and Barbara were on hand to offer advice and assistance. A very professional couple running a very switched on and well run campsite.

I was disappointed in this site. The showers and toilets are kept very clean, but I do feel that the whole thing is very basic, and all the facilities need to be updated. Two large refuse skips are in full view of the play area and can be seen from parts of the campsite, and this does seem downmarket. I'm... More

Tucked away, but within easy walking distance from the town. Lovely park for kids and a takeaway van on site. Facilities are very clean and no extra charge for lovely hot showers. Friendly Barbara and Ken booked us in and are there to help. We took their advice and walked over to "The View" For a drink, the food looked... More

As a repeat visitor still a good site but placed touring caravan against fence with no hard standing on sloping field. Trying to get off is difficult and impossible in the wet. Field slopes away so it needs proper pitches to make it safe and back to the best!!

We have just visited this site as a group of 6. We arrived with friends in a motor home and this was all new to us. However being a stalwart in hotel or B & B holidays I can reccomend this site. Family friendly, and the site management couple were more than friendly and helpful. Showers and toilet facilities were... More
