Myself, my wife and our 5 year old daughter just spent three nights at the Glanllifon and it was perfect.
Check in was quick and easy, and when we got to our room we found it was
very spacious, clean, and with a stunning view of the ocean.

We stayed in the family room at the front of the property on the first floor. As well as the usual double and single bed, there was also a large wardrobe, large set of drawers, a small double sofa with armchair, and a large tv. The bathroom, like the rest of the accommodation, was spotlessly clean and the towels provided were soft and felt new.

At breakfast there was a good selection of cereals and fruit, as well as fresh bowls of fruit salads. There was also a full cooked breakfast with toast, as well choice of tea/coffee, or orange/apple juice. I also discovered lemon marmalade which is awesome! 😃

We really couldn't find fault with the Glanllifon. The owners (sorry we never got your names) were very friendly and welcoming, and there was nice small touches like dove hand-wash and shower gel provided, and dairy milk chocolate bars in with the choice of tea/coffee/hot chocolate in our room. Our 5 year old loved that!

It's in a great central location if you intend on visiting a number of places like Portmeirion, Harlech, Porthmadog, Snowdon or Caernarfon, as it's only a short drive from all of them.

We loved our stay so much we booked again for next year as we were driving away.

See you next August!

We had the deluxe double room with shower on the top floor. The sea views were spectacular, with a lovely couch area to admire them, this was perfect too as we had our 18 month old with us so she had plenty of room to play and roam around. She also loved the full length mirror that was provided.

The room had loads of facilities and nice touches, including brand new shower gel, shampoo & conditioner, loads of towels, tea & coffee making facilities, bottled waters and some chocolate treats! Great sized TV, hairdryer & dresser, fast WiFi and lots of drawers for storage!

Room was spotlessly clean and housekeeping kept everything fresh and bins emptied daily.

Staff were very friendly and helpful but at the same time didn’t hassle you and left you to your own devices, perfect amount for attention.

Breakfast was hot & tasty, lots of selection on the continental side of things, and a nice dining room with sea views.

Fantastic location in the town of Criccieth, the shops, cafes, main beach and castle are a 10 minute walk away and a promenade & beach just outside the front of the B&B. Abersoch, Portmerrion, Porthmadog, Caernarfon and Harlech all short drives away, a perfect play to stay when wanting to explore numerous areas during your trip! Local Petrol station, newsagents & train station all close by too!

Amazing value for money, lovely little B&B with everything needed for a relaxing break away! Would definitely recommend a stay here!

This guest house is in a perfect location, facing the seafront with plenty of off street parking (pay and display) facing. The room was spotless, well decorated and had all the amenities you need with some lovely additional touches. The service was absolutely on hand and a fantastic breakfast included (continental and full English). To get into the main town, it’s a short walk where you can find great cafes, pubs and restaurants. We would highly recommend this guest house, great value for money and would return again

This B and B is fantastic. Stunning sea view from our room and from the breakfast room, great location across the road from the sea and walking distance from everything in town. The room was large and the house itself is beautiful. The breakfast was lovely, gorgeous fresh fruit salad, vegetarian cooked breakfast option was provided, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Lots of thoughtful touches like binoculars in the room and chocolate bars on the tea tray. Wouldn't change a thing. Thank you, will definitely return.

We have just had a two night break staying at the Glanllifon in Criccieth and found the double room we had (room1 ) so comfortable and spacious with a wonderful view overlooking the sea and grass area where we could people watch and enjoy the lights on the Welsh peninsula of an evening.
Breakfast at Glanllifon is served in a room to the front of the house again overlooking the sea and you have a choice of cereals orange or apple juice and also a choice of cooked breakfast with vegetarian or vegan options.
Criccieth is a lovely little village with plenty of eating places and we enjoyed having fish and chips sat on a bench watching the waves roll in
We would also recommend visiting the Prince Of Wales public house as the meal we had was very enjoyable.
This was our second visit staying at Glanllifon and hopefully it wont be our last.

I highly recommend this as a place to stay in Criccieth. It's well positioned on the sea front with a lovely view from the rooms at the front - well worth paying for. The owners were very welcoming and the breakfast was freshly cooked, with lots of choice. The railway station and bus stop are less then 10 minutes walk away and it was easy to catch the bus to Porthmadog to visit the steam railway there. We would be very happy to return.

Stayed in room 3 for 4 nights, felt like a home away from home. Very spacious with great sea views, particularly loved the sofa to watch sunrise and sunset. Little extras such as shampoo, conditioner and shower gel as well as a daily chocolate bar very much appreciated! Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty - a good set up for the day. Location is great, quiet area but a short walk into town where there are some lovely restaurants. Perfect for those that like to stay by the coast but have the choice to venture into Snowdonia. Would definitely stay again!

Just returned from a 3-night stay here.
Lovely guest house in a quiet, sea-front location. Super 2nd floor room with gorgeous views across the bay (which you don't even have to get out of bed to see)! Both the bedroom and big bathroom were light and airy. Nice addition of a sofa to admire the views too. We saw seals and dolphins during our stay, which was wonderful! Everything spotlessly clean on arrival and kept so throughout stay. Tea, coffee, etc replenished daily too.
Breakfast was excellent and ample - all the usual expected fayre: fresh fruit salad, yogurts, cereal, toast, full Welsh to order (the sausages were yummy)!
Parking was dead easy on the road outside the hotel and free.
Will definitely book again if/when we return to Criccieth.

We stayed at Glanllifon for one night as part of a walking holiday. We were warmly greeted and a little surprised by our lovely room. The provision of a sofa added to the enjoyment of an evening indoor picnic watching cycling on the large TV.
The provision of toiletries was generous as were the two Twix bars, after our 17 mile trek. Breakfast was delicious. Thankyou for providing the unlisted fried bread requested by my husband. We would highly recommend this establishment.

Our second stay at this excellent BnB.
I really can't fault it in any way - it's so clean, the view from room 3 is stunning, the tea tray is so well stocked & replenished daily and a great variety & choice of breakfasts.
The location straight onto the coastal path is fantastic.
To top it off the family who run the Glanllifon are really friendly & helpful.
Hope to be back again one day!

There is no car park but it is unrestricted parking on the road outside, where we were always able to park. Also a pay and display car park over the road.
