Detailed Reviews
This has to be one of the best campsites we stayed on during our motorhome touring holiday of Wales. The site itself is kept immaculate and the facilities are kept spotlessly clean. Great spacious showers with only a 20p charge (washing machine and dryer also available). The pretty town itself is within easy walking distance where there are plenty of good places to eat and drink also there is a bus stop nearby which can take you to the town. This site is a real credit to the owners and we intend to return later in the year

Superb site. Stayed for 3 nights at end of our holiday. Great location for a short drive to Black Rock Sands beach. Porthmaddog and Cricceth.
Site is very well maintained and laid out on various levels. Toilets and showers were spotlessy clean. (shower 20p for 4 minutes, more than long enough for a bloke, may need 40p for lady with long hair.) Pitch ( hard standing) was fully serviced with Electric, fresh water and waste holes. Slight slope on some pitches so raising ramps used on front of motorhome. Staff was really friendly and helpful with local advice. Worth pointing out this site was considerably cheaper than those that back directly onto Black Rock Sands. There is a fishery down the same access road with a handy cafe. We will definitely be back.

Well yet again I used this campsite and despite it being first week of school holidays there was lots of space and very peaceful .the view from the field I was in was fantastic I have been coming to this campsite every year for over 15yrs and because of work come to area quite often see have got to know owner drew quite well .drew and his family keep this site well matained and clean to a very high standard hence a lot of people on site having been coming for years like myself . To the site it is dog friendly and has a large field put aside to exercise your dog on .showers, toilets and sinks are cleaned regular and look permanently brand new .criieth Town centre is just over a mile away and porthmadog 4 miles away for shopping and getting supplies . This site is not a rowdy campsite and has rules to keep that way I have just 6 days there and didn't want to go home feel so refreshed and chilled out . One for the little ones the site has lots of wild rabbits .this site makes for a great base to tour round North wales . Only down side some people might have is no shop or clubhouse onsite but Criccieth is a only a short stroll away or get the local bus ehich stops right outside the entrance .also there is a fishing lake with a cafe next door to site that does food and really good breakfast

Only stayed one night but were blown away by everything,...the views, facilities, space and cleanliness were second to none. We’ve camped many times over the years and stayed in some lovely places but this has to be one of the best! This site is extremely well maintained but strikes a lovely balance of keeping everything natural too. Not too much light pollution is a real bonus for dark skies so you’ll need to pack a torch! A delight to share the area with rabbits running around adding to the charm. We’ve passed this place so many times as we are fairly local but so glad we cycled here to camp a night and look forward to returning. Well done!👍😊👌

Went here for 5 nights in a tent as a family with two young children and a dog. Had a fantastic time! If your after a bar and evening entertainment then this site isn’t for you, and it doesn’t try to be, but if you are after a nice family friendly site with well maintained facilities and an excellent view, then your in luck. Great little play area for the kids and plenty of room for games around the site. There is what looks to be a new toilet shower block with really handy family rooms. Site was quiet by 10 each night so kids had no problem sleeping. Reception was closed when we were there due to covid but the site team were easy to get hold of and deal with by email for any queries.

Good campsite but could be better with a couple of changes. Toilet block where we were had no hand dryers if osper towels also the campsite had no lighting around except on new toilet block which made it really dark if you were our end about at night time. The road route d the campsite was quite narrow in places especially for towing. The paths/road round camoditewas very uneven and gravelly.
On the plus side large pitches with water and electric. Walking distance to cricceth 1.5 miles with a path all the way. Good dog walking area. Owners really nice and friendly.

Amazing camp site. We stayed in the Pod and loved it. Staff were so helpful, facilities were spotless. Will definitely be back. Location is between Porthmadog and Criccieth so accessible for the whole of the Llun. Extra bonus is all the rabbits about. Kids loved it.

This is a fantastic campsite. Great sized pitches and brilliant facilities. The play area was a fabulous addition for the kids and the views from the camping field are amazing. Great 25min walk into Criccieth.

Our first visit to Eisteddfa left a very favourable impression. We had a friendly greeting by the wardens and the facilities were maintained spotlessly for our entire 5 day stay. There was plenty of space in the camping field to chose from when we arrived and although there were sheltered areas we were able to chose a spot with both sea and mountain views.Just a note- the camping fields do slope but there was enough space for us to just pitch the tent to account for the slope. I believe there are a numbered level emplacements in 2 smaller fields.
