Just returned from 4 nights at this hotel with Alfa travel, nice clean modern bedrooms, friendly and polite staff. Chef needs to learn to make proper gravy.
Could do with beefing up Wifi as only available in lounge area downstairs.

As Boyd H points out, the town is quite small but there are a few local pubs and restaurants (one of which can be found on Tripadvisor, is called 'Poachers Restaurant' and has excellent reviews).
