Two nights at Twddyn Mawr were definitely a highlight of our trip to Wales - all of which was spectacular. The house itself is just beautiful, room is spacious, immaculate, luxuriously decorated, and with a view that is indescribably magical. To be able to open our french doors in the evening, sit on the patio and sip tea while watching...

Thanks Olwen, we had a fantastic holiday in your house with my family. The breakfast was awesome and the view from the house is so great I could sit in front of the house forever. Your tip to visit the lakes afterwards was perfect for us. The kids want to come back.

Thanks Olwen for a lovely stay, the room had the wow factor as I walked in! Breakfast was amazing, great fuel for climbing Cader, the mountain behind the B&B, with the path starting within walking distance. Highly recommend for the excellent attention to detail.

Where to begin. My Girlfriend and I decided to choose Mrs Evans's B&B for the first week of August. After reading all the warm reviews online you start to get an image in your head of what to expect. Well when we arrived none of those comments can prepare you for the sheer beauty of the location. surrounded mountain views...

We stayed at a Tyddyn Mawr Farmhouse for the last weekend in July . The views leading to the farmhouse were spectacular. We were made very welcome by Mrs Evans. The room we stopped in was beautiful with breath taking views. Breakfast was amazing with a smoothie to start followed by fruit, croissants, yogurt, amazing home made musili and a...

About a 10 minute drive outside of Dolgellau, Tydden Mawr is a beautiful B&B. The room was huge, with a lovely seating area with amazing views of Cadair Idris. You can walk upi Cadair Idris straight from the farm, if you're not too full from the delicious and very generous breakfast, and Olwen has plenty of OS maps and walking...

We stayed at Olwen's B&B for a night on a 50 mile trek across the Cadair Idris range. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were made to feel at home. Olwen's sumptuous breakfast could have seen us through to the evening, though we were burning enough calories to justify a sandwich for lunch! I'd recommend Tyddyn Mawr, with its...

Highly recommended. The property is directly below and bordering Cadir Idris. Great hiking on the caldera mountain and birdwatching on Maddoch estuary. Olwyn provided a spacious suite and was a fantastic host- delicious b-fast and spot-on recommendations for local restaurants around Dolgellau and hikes.
