We recently stayed in room 7 it was great especially as our family, grandchildren & friends were all camping here too. The room was cosy the bed was the best I have ever slept in. Towels were lovely & fluffy & a lovely bathroom with plenty of hot water. We had to cross a cute stream to get to our room which had a nice little garden. The room was spotlessly clean, lots of tea & coffee etc. We loved it!

Booked this room for one night away in August 2021. There were clear instructions upon arrival and we located our room easily. The room was very clean and had everything we needed, including a small fridge, soft, clean bath towels, hand towels and flannels. The bathroom also had plenty of complimentary soap and shampoo/conditioner. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay and we plan to rebook in summer 2022 for an anniversary trip! Would highly recommend.

Visited here with some friends as we were biking in the area. Its great location for what we needed. The B&B is very quirky and has rooms scattered around which was really good. Our room was very clean and spacious. Beds comfy and a great shower. Loved the fact our room had a mini fridge in there - that was a nice surprise! The benefit of this B&B is that it has a lounge downstairs to allow catch up with friends rather then staying in our rooms. The only downside was lack of breakfast provided but this is due to Covid restrictions at moment so hopefully this will change in the future.

Do not believe the reviews. We arrived and it took some time to find our room No one around to help! We assumed that when we booked our room would be in the main house as there are no photos of the rooms in the very tired outbuildings opposite the house. On entering the very small musty smelling twin room we opened windows for some fresh air and unpacked. The open wardrobe shelves were broken and the bedside table drawers had not been cleaned for some time. However we thought ok, we will make the best of it. I then noticed one of the beds looked as though it had been slept in and just made up. Not fresh ironed sheets as one would expect. I then lifted the duvet to find FOUR FLEAS!!! Jumping on the sheet. Disgusting! I eventually found someone to speak to and went to the office to speak to I assume the manager. She apologised and told the guy to go and hoover it. Will that be ok she said. She then offered to give us a bunk room for a night then move us again. By this time I had lost any trust in them to provide any decent accommodation. She gave me a number to ring to stay in and left me to ring it myself. Crap customer service. Also the guy who I spoke to first said the fleas were fruit flies. Sorry mate, fruit flies DONT jump.
Booking.com need to look into this B&B

I'm sorry that you have the need to post a negative review. I can confirm that they were definitely fruit flies that must have come into the room as the staff were cleaning. There is a Quince tree next to that room, and we have arranged for the tree to be removed due to this issue. We did try and offer you another room which you refused. We have employed extra staff this summer to help with the cleaning and have been working very hard to follow the COVID guidelines. And we have received fantastic feedback in regards to the cleanliness and this is the first complaint we have received.

I was charged £68 plus £9 (for breakfast 1.5miles down the road). The room was clean, but had a single bed!! I couldn't believe it! There was no parking when i arrived and i could hear people walking past my window all night. Would strongly NOT recommend this rip off place that is not even a B&B. Go else where if i was you.

Very disappointed when spending £78.50

We are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay with us. The room you stayed in is a Single room, meant for one person and with a single bed and advertised as such. We have a lot of guests who regularly stay in that room for work in the area, who are pleased with the room and keep coming back to stay. I'm sorry the car park was busy when you stayed with us, I'm not sure if you came to reception to ask for assistance on this? We can advise on parking, there is extra parking capacity just a bit beyond the main car park. Currently we are not serving breakfast on site, this is due to Covid and our Dining Room not being large enough to socially distance our guests, so currently we are providing vouchers for local cafe, Y Sospan, which many of our guests have said works well.

Visited for 2 nights. 2 double rooms booked, both clean and serviceable, with comfy beds. Few bits and bobs needed sorting, like lights not working in bathroom. And always useful to have a plug socket near a mirror - just a pet gripe of mine!! Useful cupboard with sink, fridge and cooking facilities if needed. There was plenty tea, coffee provided. Bathroom could’ve done with a spruce up but shower was serviceable.
Not a safe walk into town, which was a bit frustrating as advertised as walking distance. But the road doesn’t have a footpath and is quite a big road so we weren’t risking that. We did find a great taxi company though - Cader cabs who we used both evenings.
Didn’t realise until I’d booked that the breakfast was off site, but actually was fine and we carried on from there everyday.

Stayed in Arran Cottage for 3 nights and fully enjoyed our short stay.
The cottage was clean, and Arran Cottage was a nice relaxing place to stay while we explored the local area. Next time we plan to visit this area of Wales we will definitely check the availability of this cottage.

The cottage was fantastic, warm and clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of privacy but staff available if needed and staff were very friendly and helpful.
The views are spectacular, there is a large private patio with firepit and small garden to enjoy and it was so peaceful, we had our own private parking space next to the cottage.
We will definitely return and stay longer next time.

We stayed in the family room of the guesthouse, in this former rural cottage, in an attractive setting. It has been very beautifully converted, and the room had everything we needed. Dolgellau is just down the road for meals.
Close by is the exciting Torrent Path, where walkers can enjoy rough water tumbling over boulders, overhanging trees and lush ferns. Very dramatic when the river is in spate I should think.
There are adjacent self catering cottages too.

We spent three nights in room 5. The procedure for arriving had been made clear to us and we did not see any staff, nor did we expect to given the covid situation, more's the pity. The studio flat was spacious, clean, and had everything we required . The bed was king size and very comfortable. As we expected, nobody came in to service the room and we were content to look after ourselves. Good weather had a lot to do with our enjoyment of the room and its location but we would be pleased to stay again.

I imagine you could walk yes...I would use google maps to confirm this based on your own definition of “walking distance”.however I would describe it as a small town with a few pubs.
