Pandy Isaf offers everything you need for a relaxing retreat in the heart of Snowdonia. It sits in pristine grounds off the beaten track, with the river running alongside. It’s immaculately presented, extremely clean and welcoming.

Dave is a wonderful host, warm and friendly with some great stories and excellent knowledge of the local area - whether that’s tips on places to explore or restaurant recommendations. He’s also taking social distancing and cleanliness very seriously - with hand sanitiser on the door and other measures it was very reassuring.

Breakfast choices are plentiful, and the famous Pandycakes are a sensation. Ideal fuel for a day walking in the country air - don’t leave without sampling them at least once!

Highly recommend Pandy Isaf and would love to return.

Can’t remember how we found Pandy Isaf, but however it was, we made the right choice. The cottage and purpose designed and built B&B is tucked away in a valley just outside of Dolgellau, allowing easy access to the surrounding south Snowden area and easy walking distance to the ‘Torrent walk’. With its own well kept grounds and guest lounge, the b&b offers a relaxed and comfortable stay. The accommodation is relatively new, decorated to a high standard and is well equipped and pristine throughout. Breakfasts were just as ordered and we looked forward to them immensely. Vegetarian option was excellent and very tasty and again cooked to order. To achieve this standard when Covid-19 is still prevalent is no mean feet. I think anyone writing reviews should remember this. I’m told some mobile phone signals may not reach the valleys but I had a full strength signal from O2. Also, it may be worth checking the map offered by a sat nav rather than just blindly relying on a destination offered by a post code. Google maps have the property pinpointed, so no excuses. Our time at Pandy Isaf flew by and the only problem was we had to leave. Thanks to Dave for a lovely stay, just like Arnie, we’ll be back.

Hello Islanders! Thank you for your wonderful review! Such a shame Mark didn't get to see the planes, maybe next time. At least you got to enjoy the beautiful "Torrent Walk", and what a beautiful walk it is. Hopefully I see you both again, if not here then on the Island! Stay safe, Dave

Received a very warm welcome for our 5 night stay at Pandy Isaf. Beautiful rural location with well appointed rooms and a fabulous host. Wonderful breakfasts - do try the Pandy cakes and his homemade marmalade! Our host David made wonderful recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to eat in Dolgellau - great tapas. Nothing was too much trouble and he goes out of his way to ensure his guests are well looked after. Highly recommended.

Had a nice stay. I wouldn't say the room was as clean as the reviews stated. Also a little disappointed that there was no fruit, yogurts etc for breakfast, it would have been nice to have a little more food offered. Our room couldn't be cleaned due to the virus, so we quickly run out of teas. It would have been nice to have some teas etc left somewhere if guests would like more. Apart from that it was lovely, a nice quiet area. Host very friendly and helpful.

Hello! I'm pleased you had a nice stay at Pandy Isaf. I'm so sorry to hear that your room wasn't as clean as you'd read in the reviews, you should have mentioned it to me and I'd have rectified any issues you had immediately. Fruit, yogurt, cereal and fruit juice is offered every morning, unfortunately I can no longer put this out on display for guests to help themselves because of the COVID 19 regulations, the same goes for putting out Tea, coffee, Hot chocolate sachets. You should have asked me for more tea and I'd have given you as many as you wanted. Stay safe, Dave.

Had a fantastic stay at Pandy Isaf. Dave the owner made our stay perfect from start to finish. From tasty breakfasts to recommendations for local walks & restaurants. Pandy Isaf is situated in beautiful grounds but only a five minute drive into Dolgellau for local amenities. The B&B is beautifully furnished & spotlessly clean. Thank you for a great stay.

What an absolutely amazingly beautiful place!!
We recently had a family reunion here and we were all so delighted not only with the beautiful setting but the sheer luxury of the cottage.
It was immaculately clean and tidy and every effort had been made by the owners to make sure every of our requirements were catered for!
A most perfect place to relax and unwind, snuggle up by the log fire and read that book you have been meaning to get into.
Or enjoy all the lovely countryside walks ,the Torrent walk which is breath taking and just a stone's throw away!
All the best parties are in the kitchen,,and wow what a fantastic kitchen/diner to host our evenings activities!🥳🥳
Loved, loved, loved Pandy Isaf,,hope to come back soon!!

Great location and the breakfast is fantastic such a great selection and very filling. I can recommend this place enough! Thank you for everything David!

We spent the nights of the 25th and 27th of August 2015 at Pandy Isaf. Although the location is off a minor road it is still only 3 minutes from accessing the main A470 and A494. In order to drive straight up to the location ignore your sat nav and follow the directions given by Ann & Peter on their website, from the North on the A470 turn left immediately after the Esso station, from the south turn right immediately before the Esso station. The location of Pandy Isaf is magnificent, set against the fast flowing river (no chance of flooding as it's a good way below the level of the garden) there is a sound of rushing water but as this was a constant frequency and not too loud, our hearing thresh-hold soon adjusted and filtered it out from the peace and quiet. The amount of attention to detail Ann & Peter have achieved at Pandy Isaf is remarkable and a credit to them. One particular bonus we enjoyed was the guests lounge, well furnished and looking out from wide french style patio windows to the garden.and the river. Our room was a delight, everything we required; tea coffee and chocolate making facilities with fresh milk (daily) dispensed from a thermos flask. Exceptional good shower over the bath, sink WC and cabinet for storage of all things toiletries.Fixtures and fittings in the en suite were to a high standard needless to say spotlessly clean.Did I mention the two terry towelling bath robes ! Attention to detail is something that goes hand in hand with Pandy Isaf. The bedroom was well appointed plenty of hanging space and hangers. Although the accommodation never felt cold Ann & Peter decided to include a fleece covered hot water bottle in one of the draws, it's that attention to detail again,
It would be unforgiving if I didn't mention the breakfasts. To start orange or apple juice accompanied by a selection of a good quality cereals or mixed fresh and conserve fruit. these are self service so you can decide on quantity and choice. By this time Ann has already wished you a good morning and returned with your order of tea or coffee, you then choose from the main menu for a full english breakfast or a 'pick and mix' expertly and very obviously freshly cooked with toast to your choice,
No wonder we only managed the Mawddach trail one way. Would I visit again - emphatically yes, would I recommend it to my friends - of course.
