My husband and I stayed at the site recently, and though the weather wasn’t fab it was still a pretty place. Very peaceful except for the drama on our last night (glad it happened on our last, wouldn’t have been able to get a wink of sleep after otherwise!). There was a long night of noise and cars coming and...

I've stayed here on numerous occasions and with Snowdonia being one of my favourite places on the planet, I've camped at many of the sites in this area. Llyn Gwynant is unquestionably the best site that I've found within the locale. Stunning views, very well run (I particularly like the restrictions on noise after lights out) and an altogether excellent...

After a long week a day camping is always on the cards, this place did not disappoint. Arrived at 2 am, still able to park up and pitch, when I awoke I went for a swim in the beautiful lake right next to the site! Stunning to swim in such water surrounded by hills and mountains, even if it was...

Used this campsite as a base for a hike up Snowden and although we only stayed one night will definitely be going back! Basic but clean facilities with decent hot showers, which were much appreciated on our return! Onsite pizza's are simply amazing and you can order a beer to have while you're waiting for your food to be freshly...

Had a fantastic few days here at the end of July. We are a family of four and it was our first visit to the area. What a fantastic place! Quiet & back to basics. A great way to relax for a few days. The staff were really helpful and had good local knowledge. We enjoyed the pizzas available on...

Great place to camp close to the watkin path. The showers and toilets were very good condition when I went and couldn't have asked for more and was very easy to find. Will definitely return here if I go back

Stayed here twice. Once August bank holiday and again in September. The site is in a stunning location right next to a small lake which makes for a fine morning view. The campsite itself is attractive in that it's broken up with trees and a well laid car track. The toilets do the job, although for bank holiday there were...

If you are looking for a proper camping experience this is the site for you. The surroundings are amazing a river runs by that our kids spent hours catching tiny fish in, and a large warm lake for swimming and kayaking. Perfect for your children to play in the great outdoors and experience real nature. Great base for climbing Snowdon...

We spent 4 nights at LLyn Gwynant Campsite during late August - using it as a base to explore some of the surrounding areas, including a family climb to the summit of Snowdon. This was our first visit to Wales and we were blown away by the scenery. I'd booked in advance as I needed to have an electric hook-up...

Visited on the August bank holiday weekend. The campsite was extremely busy i almost felt like i waa at a festival it was that busy. Despite the busy bank holiday campers the site is brilliant. The views of Wales from the site are stunning. Theres also plenty of activities to do on site. The staff are friendly and helpful. You...
