Stayed here for five days over the August bank holiday with a friend. Cannot fault it, exactly as described. Yes, the room was small but had an en suite. Yes, it is above a bar but the noise was minimal and we slept well even...More
The place was grim. It had a scruffy bar downstairs and the accommodation was described by staff as 'dormitory', no ensuite . The sign over the entrance said Hostel. The room had no tea and coffee making facilities , no mirror , no bedside table....More
Myself and a couple of old mates all met up for a night out in Pwllheli and decided to stay at Y Castell, as the place was recommended to us by two separate groups of friends.

Hi Sue. On road parking directly outside if you can find a spot, I didn't have any trouble but it was a Monday night. Limited to 1hr during the day but arrive after 5 and leave before 10am and you'll be fine. There are 3 24hr car parks a few minutes walk away. A quick Google search will find them. Read the reviews though, serves a purpose but there will be better b n b accommodation locally. Thanks. Neil
