We arrived at the Bull Bay Hotel to be told it had been sold and there were no restaurant or bar facilities available. The sale had been completed weeks before and the owners J W Lees Brewers had decided it was better to keep our money and let us stay in a deserted hotel as the last guests ever. We...

Just had another lovely break at Bull Bay in our favourite room, No 3, with great views. The staff are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble and the food is good. The hotel has been sold and we feel sad that we may never stay there again but we wish Alan and his sister a very happy future.

I say this with sad tidings, thank you patch, but yes your are correct our hotel will no longer be trading. I am not sure what is in store for the hotel, but like you, I hope it is another hotel and not apartments as suggested.

What a lovely run hotel with a lovely friendly staff. From entering the hotel to leaving we were made to feel welcome. The full English breakfast set us up for the day and cooked to perfection. We would both definitely return to the "BULL BAY HOTEL" but sadly it,s era of being a hotel is sadly coming to an end....

Omg, thank you for such a wonderful review at such a time, all I can say is I am sorry for our customers who had to endure a restaurant closure for our last few weeks, but hope we made up for that by recommending the Trecastell hotel who serve fabulous food at affordable prices. A nice room with good view. However the place was up for sale, the restaurant shut and the bar rarely open. A strange, Marie Celeste feel about the place, suggest the new owners need to get in quickly. We were disappointed that website did not inform us re the current situation, misleading.

Apologias for your disappointment, the 'for sale' sign obliterated our trade, it was mentioned but the sign remained. However, I sincerely apologies for your inconvenience. If I was to continue trading I would offer you the world, I can't do that as the hotel is sold. What I can do is say, I am sorry, & I mean my sincerest...

This hotel is in a large, older building slightly raised from the sea front, so with excellent views. Unfortunately the hotel is being sold and has a slightly run down feel to it. Breakfast was nothing special. But it does the job.

A lovely peaceful, spot with ample parking. The bedroom was very spacious with a superb view out across the bay. Just a few minutes from the coastal path makes it an ideal spot to start any walks. The staff were very helpful and made sure we had a great stay.

I understand that this hotel will soon close so I am glad that I had the opportunity to have a wonderful view from my bedroom windows - the moonlight shining on the bay was stunning ! Really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. It does need doing up but everything was clean, bed was comfortable and shower was powerful enough and temperature controllable - always a must for us!! Staff were lovely and would do anything for you if asked.

We had four lovely days here. There is no point doing a review as the hotel is closing shortly and has been bought by an American hotel chain. I hope they manage to keep the charm of this hotel which is located in a spot of great beauty. We wish Alan and his sister all the best for the future...

I stayed here with my fiancé as my best friend was getting married in the village. We were greeted by a lovely man at the desk who showed us to our room. Our room overlooked the beautiful bay which was fantastic! The room decor is very basic but clean. I would recommend staying here if you're ever in the area!
