At this time of year, when many places on Anglesey have shut up for the Winter, this establishment stays open to the public and although the guest numbers were down ( as one would expect) the service was excellent and the food freshly prepared and served with a smile by the staff on duty. I was particularly impressed by the...

Thank You for your review, it was most helpful, we were happy to accommodate you & welcome you back anytime. For those of you who do purchase vouchers on the internet, please check that the company you are dealing with has a good reputation. Alternatively, give the hotel a ring, which ever hotel it is, they may not offer the...

We came upon the Bull Bay Hotel while walking the Anglesey Coastal Footpath and feeling pretty desperate for hot drinks. Although the hotel has a great location we feel it could do much better. The interior is rather run down and, worst of all, the furniture did not match, either in colour or in size. The table we chose was...

Thank you for your comments. Refurbishment for the hotel is under review, fixtures & fittings come with the package deal from the brewery, this is not a privately owned hotel and therefore we are subject to contractual agreements, financial costings & benefits are assessed months if not years in advance of refurbishment. This is a discussion we are currently having...

Good value for price paid. room clean and tidy. bath and shower excellent. good choice of meals in restaurant. food and drinks prices were average for a hotel. all staff were friendly especially Alan the manager. Room 10, although on 2nd floor, it was warm and cosy and had great views of the bay. would stay again.

I really don't like to moan about "Cheap" hotels as you generally get what you pay for. I dont mind the run down and tired decor, (This is why its cheap) what I do mind is cleanliness. No matter how cheap a hotel is it should not be unclean. The (very low down) top of the wardrobe hadnt been wiped...

My apologies, I was distressed to hear your complaints, our cleanliness is not normally an issue, we pride ourselves on cleanliness, I have instigated a full review of our cleaning schedule and can assure you that this won't happen again. However, this does not detract from your experience and I would like to speak with you personally to see what...

Hello Yarbo, My sincerest apologies for the lack of hot water in the hotel, I remember explaining there was an issue with water supply at the time, the problem is being dealt with, I am trying my best to get the brewery to install an additional system of hot water which will alleviate the problems. This unfortunately does not help...

2 for £12!! Its rude not to! What a brilliant carvery with a great selection of meats - beef, turkey, pork and gammon and plenty of vegetables to choose from (and mash!), all prepared and presented beautifully. Nice friendly staff and a decent pint. Excellent value for money. Lovely building, plenty of room to dine or relax with a drink...

Stayed here for four nights and had a great time. The hotel is located close to the sea in Bull Bay near Amlwch. Alan has a great team here and they look after you in style. The room was large and comfortable with a king size four poster bed and views of the sea. There is nothing negative to say...
