Visited today with several family members. Even though they were extremely busy, service was wonderful and efficient. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced and there was a varied menu. Well done Lastra. This place is well worth a visit!! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!!

We made a last minute decision to have a short break in Anglesey and discovered the autumn break offer by accident. We had to pay a little extra because only a superior room was available but we did not regret this. The room was large, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with two armchairs and everything you needed, even fresh milk in... More

We (6-8 of us) visit this hotel twice a year for a golf weekend. The rooms, food, service and overall stay are always excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The menu for the evening meal is varied and of high quality. It is important to book your evening meal as the restaurant is very popular locally, for good... More

Spent two nights in the Gatehouse (room 10) - wonderful, finished to a high standard and clean. Staff service was brilliant, friendly but not imposing. We ate in the Restaurant both nights, its well worth it. Portion size enough for even the hungriest traveller and the prices are fantastic. Breakfast is one of the best we've had. Simple perfection without... More

We stayed overnight so that we could collect passengers from Irish ferry at Holyhead. Choice made on basis previous TA reviews, we were not disappointed. The hotel is roadside to a "B" road and used to be the family's farm, alongside the hotel/restaurant they had a separate function suite which was in use on the night of our stay. Our... More

Home from home, lovely food and could not do enough for us. Friendly and happy and should we visit Anglesey again this is the only place we would stay. Had great weather which helped as some of the attractions were closed in early September including some beach toilets!!!

My wife and I stayed at the Lastra farm hotel for one night on the 1st September to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately, although some aspects of our stay were exceptional there were a few negatives which led me to grade the stay 4* instead of 5*. First the plus points. Everyone involved with our stay from the waiters, receptionist to... More

We recently spent three nights at this hotel, and found it to be a very welcoming and friendly hotel. We had a lovely room, which was a good size, with a modern bathroom. We ate in the restaurant each evening, and the food was good, as it was at breakfast. We would definitely use this hotel again, if staying on... More
