A night in the pub is not to be missed. Open log fire and good selection at the bar. They had draughts which we played and really enjoyed the different pace of life to back home. We stayed at Henllys so didn't experience the hotel. We did go for tea at the Brasserie later in the week and the food... More

What a great both traditional and contemporary hotel! Fuchsia being the name and boy was it the colour of the room I stayed in 'across the road'! The themes for each of the rooms is so novel and I so look forward to staying again! The residents lounge so character filled, the food great and the star staff were just... More

Visited with friends for a one night stay with a meal in The Brassiere. We stayed in the Townhouse; large contemporary rooms, crisp white bedding, fluffy towels and robes. Air con a little noisy but not really bothersome. Spent an enjoyable couple of hours in the bar by a roaring fire, good company, good bear and impressive choice of gin!... More

We stayed in the cream room in the town house - the contemporary "annex" across the road from the main inn and hotel. Comfortable bed, well designed lighting. Locally sourced toiletries, biscuits, Welsh cakes, fresh milk, Coffee machine In room. Really well thought out . Ate in Brasserie , great Gin list, Tasty and beautifully cooked meat, macoroni cheese. Felt... More

A nice welcome with a fire burning by the door. Staff friendly and portions massive. No really!! I wasn't 100% sure my cod was cod though - only as it tasted different from my local chippy. However, it was nice and despite being huge, I polished it off when I thought I'd only get through half. We had a nice... More

So it was Friday morning & with nothing in particular to do (him being retired recently & me on part time), we decided to pop over onto the Wirral to view the new container port at Seaforth (Sad I know !) & then I suggested we might pack an overnight bag & see where the trip out took us !... More

This hotel has not sorted out the parking problems. There is a small area for parking approx 6 cars at the rear of the hotel. These are for people staying in the main hotel. Guests in the Town House have to park in the public car park facing the bay. When we booked we were not told that we had... More

The Bull is a very old hotel, Dickens ? stayed here at some point, and the rooms are named after characters in his books. Our room was big enough though there was not a lot of lighting, or electrical outlets, the bathroom, was clean, though again with dim lighting, would have benefitted from a high voltage light. The bed was... More

We stayed here for two nights in October 2016. We had booked through Red Letter Days and we are so happy that this is what we chose. The car park was compact but the staff allowed us to leave our van on there and were most helpful. We were shown to our room and had a beautiful bouquet or fresh... More

We had a lovely night with friends here on 12 October, our second visit this year, and had another fabulous meal in the Loft restaurant. We were a bit apprehensive because we were told it was a new chef but if anything the food was better than ever. The staff are superb and make the evening very special indeed with... More
