To celebrate my other half's Birthday today, we went along for their Sunday lunch and it was absolutely lovely. Our children had a meal off their regular menu, and we both had the roast beef. The yorkshire puds are massive, and the roast potatoes are home made (Nothing worse than frozen roasties if you are paying over a tenner for...

We stayed here after a wedding on the island. Hotel very conveniently located for next day driving and a quick visit up Snowdon! Bedrooms are well presented and clean. Few minor quibbles-0900 on a Sunday morning was woken by hotel staff doing the glass recycling outside bedroom window! And breakfast staff couldn't/wouldn't provide water or a hot chocolate despite having...

Hotel in excellent location being at the island end of the Menai bridge. Room was appropriate for the price and restaurant/bar menu sensible. Decoration and grounds well maintained. Staff i met were competent and helpful, esp the evening waitress coping with the knock-on effect caused by a large party booking that seemed to catch the management with surprise. She was...

WE stayed here for two nights it was recommended by the friend we had come to visit. We had 2 single rooms which were clean and comfortable the only problem was that as I am elderly I had some difficulty getting into and out of the shower as it was a tight squeeze to get round the door. We enjoyed...

Booked B&B. For our last night stay. Must recommend this pub and B&B. Booked evening meal and when e went down for it at 19:30 the place was hammered with wall to wall customers. The service was excellent considering how busy they were and staff so pleasant and friendly. The food was excellent with the wine and JWL on form...

The room was stylishly decorated with a large and very clean bathroom. The only issue was a smell from somewhere ( drainage issue I think). The food was fine except for my son's chicken which we think was boiled but the waitress was very competent in the way she had it changed. The pasta was excellent. Breakfast was ok although...

Easy to find overnight stop. Good evening menu and excellent breakfast. Room was comfortable and had free wifi, although sockets to change laptop weren't that convenient. The real bonus is the ability to walk down to the Menai strait after breakfast, which really sets you up for the day.

Four of us have just stayed for 2 nights at the Anglesey Arms. What's not to like. Good location, 6 real ales, plenty of parking and I found the staff friendly. Our was clean and tidy, more than comfortable for 2 nights. Breakfast was good and there was lots of choice. Close to the centre a 2 minute wal into...
