Stayed at hotel for a Sunday night, cosy room and great bar with good food. A nice breakfast served before we left. Would stay again, staff good and always on hand. We had visited Bodnant gardens and wanted to visit another national trust property on Monday. Hotel was well placed for both.

On arrival I went to the dining room for a meal ( early evening) and was presented with a beautiful super food salad that had everything. Pine nuts pomegranate, walnuts and was delicious. Have stayed here a couple of times before, due to it's good proximity to the ferry at Holyhead and have always had a good time. Alas, this time the restaurant was a let down. My wife and I took a table in the restaurant early evening. We were asked by the young waitress if we would like a drink, so...

As we arrived me and my friends walk into the dining area a chose a seat, then a elderly woman server with blonde hair shouted at us telling us that the sign told us to wait, the sign was poorly displayed. Just because we are young males we instantly treated like second class citizens. After all that the pint of...

Had a wonderful stay in a family room at this hotel. The room was a great size for a family and was so quiet even when it was busy downstairs we couldn't hear anything in our room. The breakfasts are excellent! looking forward to coming back.

Had the family room on top floor which was spacious, well presented and very comfortable and lovely to have cafetiere for coffee in room. Was expecting traffic noise as it overlooks roundabout but pleasantly surprised how quiet it was. Breakfast was good though fruit and yoghurt would have been welcome on the help yourself table. Pub has been refitted and...

Visited without booking last night, don't understand comments of freezer food. Had fresh salmon/prawn 'superfood' salad full of delicious flavours, pomegranate, capers, pine nuts along with usual salad/veg items . Son had fresh seafood chowder, daughter goats cheese served on a toasted crumpet . No complaints here real tasty value for money thank you

We called here for lunch during our. Easter break. We ordered a cheese sandwich which the menu stated would be served with coleslaw, and a Cobb salad which stated came with vinaigrette dressing. The food arrived after a long wait. The salad arrived with no dressing which after requesting, was brought out. The bacon was hard and the chicken was tough....
