This is not a 3 Star by any stretch of the imagination. Very shabby exterior but with fantastic coastal position with amazing views across the strait and Snowdonia. The hotel is in dire need of a major facelift. Our superior room was clean but smelled dampish and musty, bed OK but with no working heating and very dated furniture. View...

if you looking for a waterfront hotel, with fantastic views and food with friendly but professional service, but without the corporate price tag then this fits the bill perfectly. I have stayed here several times in the last few years and have always come away wanting to return again. On this visit the annexe rooms did have a slight damp...

Other reviews seem to be mixed, however we had a great meal for a group of eight over the weekend. Service was excellent, friendly staff and chef came out to check all was okay. Food was very good - good mix of family staples such as gammon and chips which was well cooked. We also had the scallops which were...

We stayed overnight and had dinner. This is a very old building built into steep cliff face above the Menai Straits. To access it by car you drive down a very steep roadway. There are a series of tables set out near the shoreline and it has a stunning view across the straits to the old wrought iron bridge. On...

Lovely time, peaceful old style pub with a few seats out the front to enjoy the view. The prices were reasonable, and the food looked nice too though we didn't eat there we plan to go back and try it sometime. Fresh fish was being delivered by a fishmonger which is always a good sign.

I have not stayed in the Gazelle hotel as a guest, but I have visited it on numerous occasions as a diner and to have a drink, overlooking the Menai Straits. The bar staff are usually friendly and helpful. The food comes very quickly (10 minutes) after ordering. The standard of the pub grub is above average and bordering on...

Hotel is grubby both inside and out.....entry to hotel requires attention. Full ashtrays, rusty old heaters and BBQS, open garages and junk and litter everywhere. Inside decor is generally good in bar and dining room but a DEEP CLEAN required to carpets, windows and tables. Whoever does the housekeeping duties needs proper training....towels, hoover etc just left in hallway creating...

I always try visit this place when I'm in Wales, (I've actually never stayed in the hotel but people tell me it's very nice, real boutique). Well you drive through Menai Bridge on Anglesey towards Beaumaris for about 5 minutes, and then you have to keep an eye out for the sign on the right hand side of you when...
