Spotlessly clean room, lovely big deep bath with plenty of hot water and towels. A couple of lights didn't work but no biggie. Breakfast lovely but evening meal poor. Staff all pleasant, would recommend and would return.

stayed for one night and was more than impressed. Must say a big thanks to Andrea on reception who changed our room for us on arrival, rooms on 3rd floor are in the attic and have low beams, not suitable for my 6ft 4 partner but Andrea quickly allocated us a room overlooking the square on 2nd floor which we... We had a Family room that was very clean, spacious and comfortable, especially the third bed being in a separate room. The room was very warm, my only small moan that the room only had a very small table that was taken up with all items tea/coffee, kettle, hair drier all Hotel literature. I could have been bigger and you... More

Excellent location right in the middle of town with good secure over night car parking. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, good hearty breakfast all at very reasonable prices. We have stayed in hotels that were considerably more expensive and not half as good. Would recommend to anyone.

This hotel is probably the best value for money in the whole of North Wales! Not that I have stayed in all the hotels in North Wales! The lovely old Castle Inn refurbished in 2012 has a feeling of the town with its lovely old prints and photographs recording the history of this lovely welsh town. The public areas and... More

Visited Castle Hotel for breakfast. I ordered the large vegetarian breakfast as from past experience, vegetarian breakfasts usually fall short on quantity. When it came it was indeed large! The quorn sausages were very flavourful and did not taste of cardboard as they sometimes do. My eggs were done to my liking and the hashbrowns were nice and crispy. I... More

Stayed for 1 evening. Good points staff were really friendly and the beer is cheap. Bad points rooms are way over priced. I payed £89 for a double room and a small room at that, decor was dated and needed a spruce up, you wouldn't think it was done in 2012, some lights in the room didnt work, wallpaper peeled... More
