Stayed New Year's Day. Small car park at rear managed to get a space. Showed to reception by one of the bar staff very polite. Three people on reception having a conversation about something so didn't get full attention if staff and wasn't sure who to speak to. Bedroom on third floor. Quite a trek no lift. Freak floor boards...

Visiting family in ruthin, the Castle Hotel is the ideal place to stay with children and to catch up for a meal for large family gathering. The room was lovely and warm, spotless with two bedrooms with views overlooking the square , the hospitality tray offered tea, coffee, biscuits, bottled water and juice. We had a great stay with fabulous...

An older style building in the centre of Ruthin. Easy walking distance of Ruthin Castle and the Gaol. Small car park at rear, requiring permits, however, we understand that parking will shortly be on the pay and display adjacent to the current car park. Some of the upper floors are sloping, with creaky floorboards, but this adds to its charm....

Really pleasant experience. Food good. Service polite and efficient. Large areas, broken up into smaller areas making it more intimate and less noisy. I have visited many Weatherspoons and this has to rate in tge top 2.

Stayed on a Monday night Mid December. Rooms were very noisy, complained to reception in the middle of night, not interested at all. Complained again in the morning, again not interested. Never offered a discount or refund. Walls are so thin you can hear normal conversation in the next room, never mind snoring and TV's. Food is the worst Wetherspoons...

The hotel just could not have been nicer - warm and helpful reception, pleasant room, comfortable bed, view of the city center - it was just lovely. The location was perfect for our needs, as we were using the archives for family history. We really enjoyed the closeness of the shops.

Staff very helpful and attentive, room clean and warm. Limited parking but we got a spot so can't complain. Located right in the centre of town but not noisy, mind you it was December. Typical value for money breakfast.
