Had one night in this hotel, which in the main was a great stay. the location was brilliant and is a 5 minute walk into the town which has a very homely feel to it and great traditional pubs and restaurants. The place itself is to a very high standard, with peacocks roaming the grounds and ruins which we loved...

Stayed here for one night with business colleagues, great medieval property in a fabulous location. As you would expect the hotel is old but the place is so full of history and well worth a visit. The room I stayed in was good and everything was clean, one niggle and that was the bed, far to hard for me. This...

I booked the hotel for my mum and dads Ruby anniversary in the hope that they would receive a relaxing night away and enjoy a meal and the spa facilities of the hotel, I even upgraded the rooms to add the extra wow factor for them. How wrong was I! It turned out to be a pointless waste of money....

Enjoyed our stay again, room very comfortable, enjoyed the 5 course dinner - red rose on the table, a nice touch. We were able to use spa tubs this time which I enjoyed and the changing facilities were clean and towels and dressing gowns in locker. The breakfast was good - able to choose what you wanted from hot plates...

Lovely comfortable room with all the required amenities. Hotel is well situated and offers free parking. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar and had a lovely meal and a great choice for breakfast the following morning. Unfortunately only there for one night, we hope to get back to North Wales again...

I stayed here with my boyfriend for one night via a Wowcher deal. The only reason I am giving 3 stars & not 4 is that we had a issue in our ensuite - there was a plumbing problem so we couldn't get hot water to have a bath & only warm water came from the shower. We alerted the...

For my birthday I got treated to an afternoon tea voucher so we chose to have it at ruthin castle. I rung up to book it and the lady on the phone said it was fine. We turned up today and was told no booking was made on that day. It hadn't been recorded. The girl at reception was quite...

Upon arrival at the castle reception we were greeted by a benevolent gentleman who checked us in, although we were a bit too early to be shown to our room and so we were directed to venture out into Ruthin Village which is stunning. Once we were shown to our room, which was clean and comfortable with the usual commodities....
