Very old inn with a feeling of living off its reputation and history . Liver and onions in gravy was mostly gravy . Nice open fire and friendly staff but unimaginative menu . Decent pints of 2 local ales .

Amazing and unspoilt historic atmosphere. Friendly welcome, roaring fire, delicious steak and chips. Tasty Shiraz. Will definitely be returning when we're next in the area. Had our anniversary dinner here and thoroughly enjoyed, thank you 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Not sure we went there in the evening for a ghost hunt with haunted happenings. I’m sure it will say on their website but if not give them a ring and they’ll be happy to help.
