We stayed here as we needed to be in the area early the next day. The owners are in the process of moving to France and the whole house was covered with packing boxes and STUFF - the hall, dining room and even the bathroom. The bedroom was clear and was fine - although the small ensuite shower room had no heating. The breakfast was OK - although my sausage was a bit of a burnt offering. The host was very nice BUT if you intend to stay here I would ask as to the state of the building; if it is sold ask how long the new owner has been operating.

Nice guest house. All the facilities were excellent.receive a good welcome. My room was very clean, breakfast excellent. Rooms all en suite with coffee & team making facilities. Free parking. My stay was overnight to break the journey. There was nothing I didn't like. The guest house is in an area of natural beauty.

My company booked me into here as I was working in the area the next day I had phoned he'd to say I probably wouldn't be there until late evening, as requested on booking form. On arrival I was greeted by the very friendly and welcoming landlord, who also carried my (rather heavy) work bag upstairs for me The room was cosy and clean, with a very efficient shower. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room+ bottles of water. Always welcome. There were some books, and even a couple of packs of cars and a game of pocket solitaire in the room. Breakfast orders were left outside the room, and I could request what time I would like to have it. The next morning Carole (The landlady) came and introduced herself, and showed me into the very quaint dining room. Just one large table for all the guests. She made me the best cafetière of coffee I've had for a long time, and explained that breakfast (cooked by John the landlord) would be a little while as it was cooked freshly when people came down. It was well worth waiting for. Both John and Carol wished a good day as they sent me on y way. I would definitely stay there again if working in the area

Carole and John (the owners) have made this gem of a place a true pleasure to stay at. A genuinely friendly welcome, and customer service that puts a smile on your face. The room was very clean and comfy, and the breakfast was ample, and excellent. All of this at a price that was a fraction of much worse places. I look forward to my next trip.

My wife and I were attending a family wedding in Llanybydder and were very pleased to find somewhere to stay in the village. We were given a very warm welcome by our hosts and made to feel at home immediately. The accommodation is very comfortable with a lovely soft bed, shower, and ample supply of tea and coffee. The breakfast was well made and provided us with a good start to the day. There was plenty of toast and tea or coffee. All the food provided was locally sourced and presented attractively on the plate. The hosts even offered us an evening meal which we felt was a very special touch as there is nowhere nearby to eat. We spent two very comfortable nights at Glasfryn and have no hesitation in recommending this lovely guest house to anyone visiting the area.
