Very clean, excellent and friendly staff. We ate dinner in the restaurant where the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The bedroom was spacious and well equipped and the bathroom was modern Lampeter is a small town that is pleasant and ideally situated for visiting Aberystwyth, Devils Bridge and the coastal town of Aberaeron
I stayed here for two nights in a small, single-bed room. For a mid-priced hotel it was fine, I guess. The staff were friendly and professional. The full breakfast tasty. One criticism... When I was refitting the bed's undersheet, I noticed the mattress was stained, quite badly. Eeww, right? Everywhere else in the room seemed clean. Lampeter itself is an interesting town, not far from Cardigan Bay. I recommend a visit to charming New Quay which is just down the road. I saw dolphins playing near the tiny harbour below. Park your car at the top of the town and walk down.
We stayed here as it was a four hour drive to the uni here to drop our daughter off. As it's her first year, we decided to stay in the area for the first night, just in case. Had a lovely double room, which was large and comfy. En suite was clean, as was the room. The double bed was two good sized singles joined and huge. It had a soft mattress (I prefer firmer, but that's my preference), but slept well. You could feel the join a bit, but nothing to worry about. Had dinner here, which was nice and hot and a huge breakfast that did us for the day. All in all, a nice stay, comfortable room and good sleep. It's not a five star hotel, but we had no issues.
Will come back when passing I can assure as the drinks were just what we needed. Although our plan was to stay longer in the area we were made to feel comfortable which is an incredibly comforting feeling for myself and wife
Booked a night here as we were visiting family who we havnt seen before "the lockdown". Amazing staff who ensured our care etc regarding staying etc. Lovely room, comfy bed and although a busy restaurant etc it was quiet. Free parking was a bonus!!
