We stayed for a week in August 2017. We were 3 families (4, 4 and 2) and had all 3 apartments. They were really well equipped with everything you could need apart from a washing machine (not missed!). It was great being able to move inside from one family residence to the next and all meet up in one room for evening meals. The site is lovely to explore, especially the hidden roundhouse in the woods. We had some lovely trips including a walk along the coast from Aberaeron (I think that was how it was spelled!), spotting dolphins in Newquay and a wonderful trip to the Red Kite Centre. We even visited Devil's bridge on the way home (only 45mins away). Can't wait to go again with family.

The lodges were perfect for our three families - we were able to eat together in the evenings in Robin ( slightly larger than the other 2 lodges with an extra table) and have breakfast in our own lodge as and when people got up. I agree with many of the comments other reviewers have left - the lodges were clean, comfortable, well-equipped and more spacious than expected. Mara is lovely, helpful and welcoming and the setting is stunning. One unexpected surprise was being able to hear barn owl chicks in the evening from the balcony and watch their parents hunt for food from one of the viewing platforms - quite magical!

Lovely lodge accommodation located on a very attractive farm site, very easy to find, plenty of parking. The rooms (we had a twin with ensuite and shared kitchen/lounge area) are small but very clean, spotless bedding and bathroom area. All products are eco friendly and the recycling facilities are great. Outdoor seating is a bit limited as balcony is narrow but there are picnic benches in the garden below. The kitchen is well equipped and very clean. This is an excellent location for outdoor events and walking or countryside holidays, the wildlife garden, the outdoor classroom, the walks around the site and pond are stunning, Wales and indeed Europe have no better! Be prepared (not like me) to get up early tho as footsteps echo on the wood floor and the sounds of your neighbours travel easily! Not sure about camping, the pitches look great in a pretty meadow, but the loos and shower were not quite the same standard as the lodges. All in all, a fun weekend with friends from a woodland group in a beautiful place!

Hi Victoria, Thank you for your review and for coming to stay at Denmark Farm. We're very glad that you enjoyed your stay. We're aware that internally sound does travel along the wooden floor boards in the Eco Lodge and have been looking into a solution. The campsite uses the toilets and showers in our main building which are always kept clean and tidy. Additionally there is a lovely woodland compost toilet up by the campsite. Please do come back and camp sometime, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Many thanks again. Mara

We stayed here at Easter (2017) for 5 nights, there were 21 of us so we also hired the dormitory too. It was fantastic! Comfortable, clean, warm, well equipped, spacious and set in a beautiful location. Mara, Facilities & Events Manager, met us on site & showed us around & had also organised food supplies for us from local suppliers - bread, butter, eggs, bacon, sausage etc which were all fabulous. We couldn't have been made more welcome & we will definitely book again.

The lodge was everything the pictures showed and more, beautiful place to stay and the surrounding area was gorgeous and peaceful despite there still being activities on site, but still within reach of a Tesco to get our online shopping delivered. The attention to detail was amazing with beautiful bedding and pottery even down to the eco friendly handwash and washing up liquid! Cannot recommend highly enough, we dealt with Mara who was amazing and we hope she will still be there when we book again!
