We stayed in the self contained chalet that had all we required.Very clean and comfortable.Sitting in the sun enjoying a beer in the garden was very pleasant. We were able to to a load of washing and enjoyed a lovely 2 course dinner with wine and the owners were very friendly.A very enjoyable stay.

This was a single night stop before taking the ferry to Ireland. It's an ideal spot if you have a bit of the day on your hands as the Stackpole Estate offers lots to explore in very easy reach, a nostalgic joy to us. The room was comfortable, though the bed a little soft for my taste and the TV...

If you are walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path there aren't many accommodation options between Bosherton and Angle. Fortunately the Old Smithy is very good indeed. We stayed in the chalet which is a self-contained separate annex to the main house. It had a living/dining room cum kitchen (with sink, fridge and micro-wave plus double electric rings); a double bedroom and...

We arrived at the Old Smithy after a wet morning's walk. Pauline offered us the Chalet, accommodation which is separate from the main house. It was ideal as it was a self contained unit, which allowed us to dry out and recover.

Despite me just turning up with no prior booking, I received a very warm welcome and was allowed to stay in the 'Chalet'. What a place, everything that anyone could ever need. A truly amazingly tasty roast chicken dinner followed by apple pie and ice cream, after a long days walk, just what I needed. The full english breakfast the...

Very welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a good bed and use of a nice bathroom next door to it. More like a 4* hotel comfort level than a typical B&B. Dinner was hearty and very good especially dessert (home made blackberry crumble plus ice cream) just what was wanted after a day's walk. The...

Having done a 20 mile hike the Old Smithy was a tonic and just what I needed. Very welcoming, a lovely dinner and super comfortable bed for the night. Wonderful location for walking, and was happy to accommodate me traveling solo.

Amazing house, amazing hosts. Thank you very much for a lovely stay in a beautiful location. The house is a place to explore, full of interesting items, books. As they say its eclectic. The nature around it is beautiful. Just a few minutes of drive from Pembroke Castle. Katya and Elnar

I just returned from a walking tour in Wales and I can only recommend the Old Smithy for your stay. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly, the meals were excellent and the room very cosy. I also enjoyed reading in the beautiful garden. Thank you again Ian and Pauline! Stella
