Bron y Llys is in the most beautiful setting and the welcome was really warm from hosts Maya & John. I was linking up with a friend who walked the Offa's Duke path last year, and he was staying there. He asked Maya if she would do an evening meal for him, my partner and myself, and she kindly agreed...

We stayed at Bron y Llys last week in the Skylark room, which is beautifully appointed. After five days of great food and warm hospitality we were reluctant to leave! This is a great b and b with caring hosts.

Maya and John made me very welcome. The room was excellent, with some very nice little touches, and the evening meal was superb. They very kindly agreed to also provide a meal for two friends who lived in the area, so I was able to spend a really good evening with them. The house is very close to Glyndwr's Way,...

This was our first visit to Bron y Llys and this area - it excelled all our expectations. From the welcoming tea and home baked cakes, the good choices for breakfast and the excellent varied menu and delicious evening meals we were spoilt for choice. A real 5 stars B&B. More than confortable. Wonderful decoration (like in magazines). Excellent and sophisticated cuisine. Dining room with very pleasant view on the garden. Extremely kind landlady & landlord. I would have love to stay a week to relax and enjoy the location. Unforgetable Yannick MAHE

This was our second visit to Bron y Llys and we received a lovely warm welcome from Maya and John ( including fairy lights on the pole at the end of the lane to make sure we didn't miss the turning ). The room was superb and very comfortable. We arrived quite late, but still enjoyed a cup of tea...

Bron y Llys is like an oasis of luxury in the wild uplands that surround it...especially in November...Top notch facilities, and beautifully prepared and served dinner and breakfast. Room extremely comfortable. For us it was a lovely luxury stay in very peaceful surroundings. Maya and John are very kind and knowledgeable hosts and very interesting to talk with.

Our second visit to Bron y llys was an equal match to our first. Excellent food, warm welcome from Maya and John and just so relaxing. We stayed in the Skylark room and it is recommended. Home cooked local produce and tea and cake in the afternoon - what's not to like. Go on spoil yourself.
