I stayed here to complete two sections of the Wye Valley walk and it is well placed for the sections from Hay on Wye the end with a mix of car and public transport. Aside from the quality of the place the welcome of the owners and their willingness to go the extra mile is outstanding. They went out of...

We brought our dog as we were going to the Builth Show.We received a very warm welcome and the hosts were very attentive for our whole stay.Lovely room, nicely furnished. We were even given the privelege of eating in the dining room with our dog as in their eyes he was no trouble.Thought this was a nice touch. Booked following good Trip Adviser reviews and because it was the half-way point on our journey to west Wales and a family holiday. Very warm welcome made us feel like we had visited many times, not just for the first time. Enjoyed a cool drink in the lovely garden on a very warm day before going to our room. Excellent...

Food was homemade and very good, rooms were very comfortable, we had a family suite with the boys sharing a bedroom within our own, they were safe and therefore we could relax...

We spent two days at the Lake Country House & Spa and took a walk in to the village of Llangammarch Wells. Tongue was dragging a bit when we arrived so The Cammarch Hotel was a much needed facility. What a pleasure it was to meet the owner and the man that does. Two hours of solid chat a couple...

Have stayed here twice, last time was on 13th Oct 2012. Lovely hotel, the owners are very friendly and accommodating. Lovely big room with a huge bed, spotlessly clean. But their best point is the breakfast, as good as anything I've had at a 5 star hotel, overall excellent value for money. Will be coming back again.

This hotel sits between the River Cammarch and the River Irfon, both offering excellent fly fishing. I was there with a party of a dozen fisherfolk from Yorkshire. Kathryn is, has been mentioned previously, the friendliest hotel keeper you are likely to find anywhere. The rooms are clean, equipped with all the usual requirements including tea/coffee flat screen TV etc....

Had a wonderful 3 night stay. Such a warm welcome from Kathryn which made us feel very relaxed immediately. Had a lovely room with a big comfortable bed. Good hearty breakfast and we ate in the hotel 2 evenings, excellent food. Excellent location for walking. We left feeling totally relaxed and look forward to staying there again.
