Glandyfi Castle is ideally located in extensive private grounds with fantastic views over the Dyfi river valley. The building is steeped in history, with parts going back many centuries, but it has now been completely refurbished by the current owners to provide every modern comfort, while still maintaining all its’ historic atmosphere. The welcome from Maureen and Peter was fantastic...

Recently stayed here as part of a dear friend's birthday celebrations - what a fantastic place! The Castle has been sympathetically restored and no expense has been spared, all of the bedrooms and bathrooms (yes, we had a nose in each other's rooms!) were luxurious. The evening meal and breakfast were served in the glass-roofed atrium, it was light and...

A birthday party for close friends and family travelling long distances and everyone praised not only the sumptuous accommodation but the picturesque setting, the warm welcome, informal tea, coffee scones and bara served in a room offering lovely views over the Dyfi estuary. Our dinner in the evening was faultless. The proprietor's organisation for events leaves you with nothing to...

I booked a meal and overnight stay for friends and family to celebrate my 50th birthday in June 2016. The venue and the experience exceeded my expectations. Everything was perfect, from the lovely food to the beautiful gardens and elegantly decorated rooms. The owners achieve just the right balance between creating an elegant setting yet an informal and relaxed atmosphere....

We are just back from our 2nd trip to the Dovey Estuary staying at the fantastic Glandyfi Castle. The hotel was just as beautiful as we remembered and the setting is truly stunning. The castle is absolutely immaculate and the rooms are the best we've stayed in anywhere. This is a grand place to stay but it also feels welcoming...

Me and my partner visited the castle back in 2014 and was greeted by the owner she who was friendly and accommodating. On arrival we had tea and freshly baked fruit cake and scone and were given the menu for the evening if we wanted to order them in advanced, everything from the menu was locally produced. The dinning room...

We recently had our wedding ceremony here, and we can't praise it enough! We only wanted a small wedding for our 12 guests and Glandyfi Castle was the perfect venue for it. We were fortunate to have fantastic weather which meant we had our ceremony outside with fantastic views over the estuary. The setting was beautifully decorated with ribbons and...
