We arrived late after taking advantage of a beautiful "SUNNY" evening walk at a nearby lake checking out the waterfalls and wildlife. "No problem" for David who showed to our room & quickly directed us to the local Hotel which served diner until 9 pm....More

Although not right on the Path, we stopped here overnight on completing the leg to Buttiington Bridge. Of the 12 B&Bs that we stayed in, this was the best by someway. David, the owner, picked us up at the bridge and returned us the next...More

Wow. My wife and I stayed here for two nights while walking Glyndwr's Way and Offa's Dyke (we took a rest day in Welshpool) and had an outstanding experience. We called David after the wettest, most difficult day of our three-week trip, and he quickly...More

Stayed an evening after we finished hiking the Glyndwrs Way Trail. The farm is located approximately a mile outside of Welshpool up a steep road, but the walk was well worth it. David and Jane's home was absolutely beautiful and they made us feel very...More

About
Description
Tynllwyn is a large Victorian farmhouse dated 1841. Guests are welcome on the farm all year round. The farm is approached up a long private drive a mile out of Welshpool with beautiful views of the Severn Valley More and Long Mountain. Welshpool is a country market town in Mid Wales and we are ideally situated for lovely walks along Glyndwrs Way and Offas Dyke. We have many places of interest to visit, e.g. Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway (one of the great little steam trains of Wales), Canal Boat trips and beautiful Powis castle. Market day is held every Monday. There is also fishing, golf, pony trekking, quad bike trekking and a modern leisure centre with swimming pool, fitness suite and bowls hall. We are central for many worthwhile day trips to the North and West Coast. We also provide self catering barn conversions. Less
