Nice area, friendly staff and rooms were clean and spacious. Yes, it's a travelodge so there's a distinct lack of frills, but the Harvester next door did a good breakfast although it's only open from 9am. Good area for a quiet morning run but beware - very hilly!

Helpful staff in queit location, close to bridgend. Pub with food on site and cinema complex next junction down. AT LOW TIDE for surfing we would recommend Rest Bay which has a big space for kids to play on the beach and good waves. NO BEACH AT high tide though, so check the tides. For a vietnamese/cantonese restaurant try An...

The hotel was comfortable and in a quiet location whilst being close to the motorway network. We had ordered breakfast boxes which were hugely over priced for what you get, a small amount of cornflakes, a tiny muffin a nutrigrain bar and some orange juice that wasn't nice or instead of cornflakes there was a yoghurt option. Not enough to...

Great Location for discovering the Cardiff/ Swansea area and surrounding beaches and Country Parks. Cardiff is a fantastic city - recommend the Jazz Cafe there. We particularly enjoyed our trip to Margham Country Park - totally recommend a trip there - much to do for all the family.

The place was very quite and easy access from M4. Staff was very friendly. I liked the place even more because there was a harvester just seconds away. Room was very clean and tidy. The staff tried to help me more than my expectations. Overall 9/10.

We spent two nights here. Good points - usual comfortable but basic accommodation - friendly staff - convenient Harvester next door - quiet location - 30 minutes free Wi-Fi Not so good - only 1 bath towel supplied, necessitating an extra trip to Reception - shower control came off in our hand - cleaning after 1st night didn't vacuum carpet...

Just stayed a week on business and found this place very average. It was an extremely hot week but the windows opened only a crack, there is no air con and only 1 small fan available. My main issues where, room cleaners: no decaff provided, bath not cleaned properly on arrival or ever corrected and why did they need to...
