We loved Ciyé hotel! It was a beautiful and relaxing hotel with amazing service. The pool was wonderful and location was great for getting around town. We loved that they provided amenities such as a coffee maker, beach umbrella, bikes, etc. Since it is centrally located, it was a bit noisy at night but they provided earplugs, which was great so it wasn’t a problem. The jacuzzi was not on, which would have been enjoyable in the evening but it was pretty hot out during the day so makes sense that it wouldn’t be warmed. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again sometime. We loved our stay at Ciyé!

A group of 15 of us stayed here in December and the hotel and staff were phenomenal! Azul from the Front Desk had previously shown us all of the room types and each one of them looked well designed, spacious and spotless. Mayra, the GM, was beyond helpful throughout our stay. That could be said for the entire staff from beginning to end. Between their wonderful team, the beautiful hotel and the prime locations, we definitely look forward to returning soon!

This was our 2nd time staying at the Ciye Hotel. We love the location in the center of town, the exceptionally clean rooms, the low key atmosphere (only 20 rooms), the option of the private pool on the roof or being 1 block from the beach and MOSTLY the awesome staff - from the front desk to the cleaning staff as well as the pool/bartender hosts. Everyone was very friendly and incredibly helpful. We will definitely be back!

In this review, it is important to mention that San Pancho is a very small beach town so the hotel options are limited. I had a standard guest room for four nights at around $200 US per night. I suspect that the Ciye Hotel is one of the newer and nicest hotels in town. My positive impressions were that the rooms are very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is located in the busy part of this small town and for that reason, the noise is a problem when you are trying to sleep. All guest rooms are on the periphery of an internal open air courtyard and above the main street. On the first floor of the courtyard are businesses including a restaurant that is open late with entertainment. There is a lovey large tree in the center of the courtyard that is home to many vocal birds that start calling out early in the morning. So you try to go to sleep with the sound of the bar and street noises and are awaken by the birds. It was clear that the hotel owners are aware of the noise problem as they give you ear plugs in your room. The rooftop of the hotel has a small swimming pool and bar with a comfortable lounge area. From there you can see the ocean one block to the west.

There is a narrow balcony but it is really too narrow to use comfortably. There is not a clothes closet but there is a niche for hanging clothes. Also no phone or TV in the room and the hotel does not have an elevator. You can probably get help from the staff to take your luggage up or down the stairs. The hotel does have wifi which was somewhat reliable. The hotel provides a very light morning "breakfast" that included a piece of bread, coffee and fresh orange juice. Because the room has no table or desk they provide a small dining tray. The room did have a nice ceiling fan and AC unit.

We are sorry for the inconvenience Ms. Kjanwn, indeed sometimes being in the center of the town, it can be noisy on the weekend. We have the master rooms that can be quieter because they are in the interior area of the hotel. The restaurants that are in the lobby have a maximum of 11 pm to turn off the music, thinking of a better rest for the guests, the rooms that face the main street have double glazing to isolate the noise as much as possible and we provide everyone with earplugs ears if needed. We appreciate your comments and we are constantly improving thanks to your opinions. Greetings.

Many of the negative reviews I read before booking were accurate. The hotel location is a short walk from the beach, but on the main street. Which means LOUD noise at night. Knowing this is problem, the hotel provides ear plugs - which are not sufficient to block the noise (but thankfully places shut down by 11 pm).

For the HIGH PRICE, you get little in return: you're paying a lot for minimalist design. There's a fridge in the room, but no coffee maker (for over $300 a night this should be provided); I did not see a hair dryer (you'd expect at these prices); the bed was comfy but the pillows are hard foam rocks (you'd expect down pillows when you're paying Hilton prices). And the "breakfast" is a joke: a croisante, jam, butter, juice, tea or coffee.

I had chosen the hotel because it had a rooftop pool but it was disappointing: it is not heated, and was too cold to swim. Plus they constantly had music playing which I found distracting and not relaxing at all. It was impossible to chill and just read a book with the music always playing. I would have preferred to hear the ocean waves. I wished they would stop playing music during the day perhaps only at happy house or maybe in the evening.

The best part of the hotel is the jacuzzi. You could only really see the ocean from the jacuzzi (not the pool), because it is elevated. It had the best view. But really it was not worth paying over $300 a night for it. And there is no advantage in being "close to the beach" because the town is so small that every place is close enough.
Save your cash and stay somewhere else.

Dear guest, first of all we are sorry for the inconvenience during your stay. New Year's Eve parties are normally festivities that are celebrated a little after 12 pm and cause noise problems throughout the town, not just in the center. I also consider that when we are dissatisfied for a reason like this, we see everything with cloudy lenses and we want to see everything wrong. The hair dryer was always in the bathroom cabinet and the coffee maker was always available to our guests at no cost. You just had to ask for it, the information was on the side of your bed. The music is also at an appropriate volume so as not to be annoying, there are people like you who are a little more sensitive than normal to noise, and on some occasions we have done our best to please customers with their requests as long as it does not disturb the others. We would have loved to know your concerns so that we could support you with whatever was in our power.

My partner and I stayed at Hotel Ciyé a couple of days ago, and our experience was wonderful. We arrived at night and without reservation, and although the price of 3500 pesos per night seemed high initially, we had no choice, as it was the only hotel in the village open at that time. However, the next day we realized that the price was worth 100%.

For starters, the room was beautiful, impeccably clean and had a very nice balcony that allowed us to enjoy a lovely view. Early in the morning, we were brought a light breakfast straight to our door, consisting of coffee, juice and a delicious croissant.

Upon going down to reception, we were informed that the hotel offered bicycles for free so that guests could walk and get to know the village. Later, when we wanted to go to the beach, we were offered umbrellas and chairs at no extra cost, which was a great relief as otherwise we would have had to rent them on the beach.

In addition, the hotel has an amazing pool and we were given a coupon for two drinks from the poolside bar, which was a very nice detail.

In short, although the initial price surprised us, the quality of the facilities and services included made our stay worth every weight. We definitely recommend Hotel Ciyé for a pleasant and worry-free stay.

It is incredible how central it is and the quality of the rooms. Everything super clean and fresh. The rooms have a fan and air conditioning so you never suffer from heat. They give you a super delicious breakfast to start your day and they lend you everything you need for the beach.

Came over to San Pancho from Sayulita for the last night of our vacation and could not be more pleased by the calm, welcoming environment of this hotel. We arrived prior to check-in and reception offered to store our bags and provided us with beach chairs and towels. The location is on the main street, so plenty of restaurants and shops close by. We enjoyed drinks served at the rooftop bar and had the hot tub to ourselves, which had amazing views. Beds were comfortable and rooms had quiet ceiling fans and air conditioning. Highly recommend!

My stay was great, the workers at the hotel are professionals and very accommodating. My only complain about the hotel is the bed was not comfortable. The mattress is on top of a cement square that made is very hard. The room does not have a television, I asked and was told that it was for guest to disconnect, I agree to a certain extend, but I would like to have the choice of using the television or not. I stayed at a front room, the bar downstairs played very loud music until midnight.
