Have been there almost every March for 10 years. Beautiful place in a nice little town. Long climb down to the beach. An outdoor pavilion and kitchen makes it unnecessary to go into town to dine. Hotel staff are excllent.

We give 4 stars primarily for the location, beauty, and cleanliness of the grounds. The location cannot be beat if you appreciate simplicity, peace, and natural beauty. The accommodations are charming, traditional, and very basic. We do not give 5 stars because we had no hot water, the hot tub was cold, and it was not always possible to find...

This hotel (bungalows-suites) is located in an awesome spot. Although very austere it is clean and comfortable, the beach front views are beautiful with great sunsets and the most remarkable thing is the beach: Almost virginal, and unvisited, with powerful swimming-friendly waves (not suitable for surfing due to massive rocks) is a great place to stay and enjoy. There is...

If you want to relax and enjoy a stress free environment, this is the perfect place! The grounds are gorgeous, the beach is beautiful, the pool spectacular. We woke up with the sensation that the waves would reach our feet any second! You're that close! Lydia and Maria Teresa are wonderful hosts! We love coconuts so they brought a guy...

Yes, it is as breathtaking as all the other reviews say, Set on a rock outcropping between two virtually private beaches. These are romantic beaches, not for family swimming. You must be a confident swimmer here. My wife says the infinity pool is the most romantic she has ever experienced. Lydias is 5 km down a dirt road from San...

Perhaps one of the most breathtaking vistas I have ever experienced. Set on cliff overlooking a small beach and rocky shore, this gets top billing for location alone. The hotel is small, 8 rooms, and is almost at the end of a dusty (depending on the season) dirt road exiting north from the town, also known as San Pancho. It...

We stayed for a family vacation and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in this hidden gem. The location is beautiful and private, with a beautiful, virtually vacant beach just steps away. The pool and hot tub are also excellent. The owners are exceptionally gracious, accommodating and friendly. Thank you for such a great vacation--we will be back!

Bungalows Lydia is in a breathtaking location overlooking the ocean and a beutiful beach. I would give it a perfect score except for the fact that some of the amenities were a little primitive. We are NOT elegant people--but the coffee maker leaked, the lighting is kind of poor, the fridge leaked water onto the floor. That said, we would...

It was a perfect two week vacation where we were able to disconnect from urban America and unwind in rural Mexico. The family that owns Bungalows Lydia were gracious and helpful and what they've created is an oasis. We didn't rent a car (we took buses, taxis and did a lot of walking). We prepared our own breakfast and walked...

My husband, our 10 year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This mini resort is a few kilometers from downtown San Pancho, on cliffs overlooking a gorgeous private beach. The beach, pool, flowers, lawns and paths are lovingly cared for by your hosts, Lydia and Maria, and their staff. The perfect place to relax by the pool, read...
