So far this vacation has been amazing here, I believe the price is worth it. Everyone is so kind and always there to help, if you need help there is always someone there to help. Amazing hotel! For example I have Nayeli helping me and she’s amazing as well.

this is the first time i visited this place. i liked the food and the drinks.
one thing i could recommend is to have new bikes, the one i took was really bad, they all needed maintenance.
the activities are interesting, the kayak . the zumba class was fun, my girlfiend danced a lot.
I loved the part that we can go to the three different hotels and they all give us drinks without asking.

8 of us just returned after a great 2 weeks. The staff is awesome and hard working. The food is typical of a 3-4 star hotel with many exceptions to the positive. The beach is fabulous with great views from most rooms…and the hotel has fantastic beds . Very clean and efficient. Entertainment, 3 bars, 2 restaurants and access to all facilities at Cocos (almost next door) and Isla de Coral down the beach. Elevators! Lots of English speaking tv, maybe 10 chanels . Some people see the Spanish commercials and don’t pause long enough to see the movies etc are actually English. There is great Wifi in the rooms and public areas. We had plenty of hot water and towels every day and a nice deck . The music is loud at night but usually the only 7-10. A helpful note, if the staff doesn’t understand you, have English to Spanish translation on your phone to show them. Most are great but some appreciate the translation.

This hotel opened recently and is rated 4 stars. Right now, it's not even a 3 stars.
The hotel is unsafe. There are no railings on any of the staircases and only 1 elevator in operation for the entire hotel. They have major problems with their septic systems and their plumbing and their xater supply.
The hotel caters mainly to Mexican customers (mostly from Guadalajara) who show up on Thursday evening and leave on Sunday afternoon, which explains the reason why so little staff actually speak or understand any English at all. Don't expect any kind of service on those days.
The Reception Desk staff kept on stalling us ... It was always MAGNANA. After 3 days of arguing and pleading, we gave up.
The beach also gets overcrowded and noisy on those days so prepare to move somewhere else. The beach is nice and wide and the waves pretty calm but, because of its location, doesn't get any sun after 3PM.
2 people drowned while we were there. A lot of undertow so you have to be careful.
The pool is very small and in the shade most of the time. We never used it.
The room is very basic ... Super hard mattress and humongous pillows. NO dressers for your clothes, NO fridge, NO frills and your Oceanview Room will probably be facing other rooms across the building since there are only a few true Oceanview rooms and we did not get one eventhough we paid for it. In most rooms, you will have to crane your neck if you want to see the ocean.
The food was OK. Nothing to write home about. Very repetitive. On the busy days, you had to get there early if you wanted to eat.
Drinks and entertainment really did not meet expectations exoect fir the 3 Tones Band who were awesome !
Would never return to a Decameron.

Rooms are good except for pillows, which are terrible. Bar services are generally good, some inexperienced servers. But no decent wine, only jug Chauvenet, which is the cheapest wine available and not enjoyable at all. Worst part by far is the food. It is cheap at every opportunity. Breakfast is OK, there is fresh fruit, and get the omelet, they are cooked to order fresh, everything else is not fresh. Lunch and dinner: Virtually no beef or chicken, 95% pork is pushed and promoted. When there was beef (at the Chinese buffet in beef and broccoli), it was so overcooked it was like leather, pretty much inedible. The "chicken" dish was all massively breaded "chicken", 90% breading / batter, almost no chicken. The "hamburgers" and hot dogs are cheap and not enjoyable, they manage to both overcook them and serve them cold. The fries are also cold, not enjoyble. The rest on offer is bread, bread, bread (and not good bread), rice, pasta, ....you get the idea. Cheap carbs. The desserts are cheap. Not even flan or ice cream, mostly just cheap carbs and jello. Would not go again, just because of the very poor food experience. Staff is good and friendly but they are obviously the victims of management cost cutting.

Had reservations but the travel agent reserved the wrong days, when we got there they would not honor our original reservation, also they have at least 100 or more room but they don't provide any toiletries like wash cloths, they have one iron for the whole hotel, the food is horrible. The price is not cheap either, so for them not to adjust the days to accommodate the guest is not worth staying there.
we have stayed at other decameron hotels before where the staff goes out of their way to provide what the guests need. I RECOMMEND NOT STAYING THERE.

Spent 9 nights, the room was not clean, the bed was like a board. Bathroom door was likely found in a flood. Exterior doors to rooms were very unsecure, anyone could push the door open. Don't expect bacon or sausage ever. Little to no bread for toast. Better like wieners cause they are always available cooked or uncooked. Popular food pans were often empty. Very noisy in the rooms. Pool towels, when available were threadbare. Sewer smell at the pool The standard ocean view room that is an upgrade with WestJet isn't what they advertise! Stayed at many 3,4, and 5 star resorts in the past and never had any problems, these conditions at the decameron hotel is unacceptable.

A much smaller resort than I expected, having been to an all-inclusive in another area of Mexico before. The room was always kept clean and tidy by the housekeeping staff. Food selection at the buffet was always enough for all of us to find something to satisfy. The staff was friendly, and tried to help us bridge the language barrier. Clearly, the resort opened very recently, and maybe too soon (only one elevator, no handrails in the stairwell, minor in-room amenities missing). Given a bit of time, it will be a nice companion to the sister resort down the beach.

Absolute beautiful. I've got a oceanview room, even better. Room 6411 is good, if not noisy. Just 2 floors above Kokomo bar, where there they do entertainment and karaoke everynight. The loud speaker is really LOUD. Not for seniors.After 3 nights almost no sleep, with the help of Salvador Romero Rosales , I can move to Room 6730 on top floor, I'm afraid that was too hot, Patricio show us the room and expained clear, still a bit noisy but finally we can have better sleep for the rest of the vacation. Sometimes minor problem happened, like not enough blankets in the room, I don't know if that's Salvador's job or not but he help us to slove the problem. Food is good,staff all good, thank you all. Especially Patrio, Christina and of course hard working Salvador! Hope to see you all soon.

Had an amazing time eating wonderful food, had a cozy spacious room, lots of activities had a blast with the fam bam and the kiddos but was most impressed with the staff itself! Biggest shoutout to Mauricio Medina as his skills with translating everything I needed from English to Spanish really saved the trip and enhanced my overall experience! Love this place would recommend 10/10
